philfromcov
ok as its our last season lets manic now! King is very much Edward Kennet mould, looks impressive especially when second, but just cant overtake, no way on gods earth is he a heat leader even in this league, half decent second string. a straight replacement for Bjerre would at least make us competitive. The reality of last years top 5 is that they were very inconsistent but this was hidden by garitty at reserve. Now he is the main body King has become exposed. I think its great that garitty wants to be in the main body so well done a brit showing some ambition. has his moved up also exposed sergeants inconsistency as well? either way a new reserve and a new heat leader urgently required
Woz01
Some strong opinion from Mick Horton in the star regarding rules this year etc. Also a quote that he doesn't agree with how Poole does its business. Does he mean at the AGM?
heathen chemistry
i think he does, seems like poole got the team they wanted, and rules been made that have hindered any team strengthening. need a totally transparent agm! who or which promoter dreams up these rules ,and then a detailed assesment of who voted for and against.. Haza
The bit I don't get at the AGM last November each club votes on the following season rules and regs POOLE like any of the remaining EL clubs get ONE vote on each issue so how can it possibly just be POOLE fault ?? Other clubs must have voted the 2016 rules in as well . Edited April 21, 2016 by Haza

Shale Searcher
What will happen if Woryna goes to reserve? Can't have R/R, neither can he be replaced by another EDR, because he isn't one??? Go figure..

Other clubs must have voted the 2016 rules in as well . Yes hence why he has issues with how they conduct business. Some clubs must follow Poole's lead for whatever reason. It was quite well known last season that Hans and Ellis would be at Poole this season, Hans even said during the semi "if you can't beat them join them". Seems some promotions have followed suit. Any other club planning in advance would soon have their plans scuppered at the AGM a bit like Coventry for the 2011 season. That why no other club does much planning in advance. Its fairly obvious the BSPA made a pigs ear out of it yet again with the majority of the league suffering as a consequence. What will happen if Woryna goes to reserve? Can't have R/R, neither can he be replaced by another EDR, because he isn't one??? Go figure.. We can have a guest in that scenario.

Gemini
.....lisa-colette.........Who cares if he agrees with it or not. He should be concentrating on saving the club. Would you really want to bother? If I was a promoter of an EL club these days I certainly wouldn't.
Woz01
Who cares if he agrees with it or not. He should be concentrating on saving the club. So he cant have any thoughts on anything apart from a new stadium? Come on. All speedway fans should care if something underhand is happening, hell all fans should care anyway with the way its being run. Hes certainly attended meetings regarding new stadium and trying to save Brandon.

Woz01
Well he seems to talk about Poole a lot!! What underhand is happening anyway? No idea says he doesn't agree with the way Poole do business. Almost certainly about what happens at the AGM as he isn't happy about the rules that were voted in. Could be Horton just ranting (not the first time won't be the last) but I have to question how Poole got exactly what they needed. I was told that there wasn't even a draft this year so clubs just signed FTRs. Would explain how Leicester got Auty and Starke and Poole Newman and Ellis. heathen chemistry
A fully transparent AGM would go along way to exposing any 'clubbing' together as so to speak if it does go on... It would let us fans know how these rules are made up , the promoter/ or promoters that invent these rules , then the promoters that vote them in,and how they voted.. i really carnt see why they carnt have a fully transparent AGM ,,Unless of course they have got something to hide ? It might build a bit of trust between fans and promoters.. Edited April 21, 2016 by heathen chemistry

You could have had Garrity at reserve, and to be fair, your promotion should have insisited this. Kyle wants to go into the team proper, but he's happy to be at reserve for the time being. Looking at new averages, it might be a while before Newman is in the main team. More chance of Ellis. I thought Kyle would be one of the first to move up in this protected format but it's been Auty, Starke, Kerr and Wright who have been adding to their averages. Ah well, averages don't make any sense anymore. I mean, Charles Wright at Heat Leader for Swindon? It's a total fiasco.
