Simple But every other age group is cheaper this season. I was paying £23 a meeting for me and my daughter now its only £

Woz01
Somebody has got to pay for that so he thought he would hit the old They are paying the same as every other adult, don't see how that isn't fair especially as an age group OAPs have more money than ever before and that will continue to rise. Why wasn't there moaning about the storm prices? No concession there either.

It's a family sport and we save a lot of money if taking kids with us compared to some tracks so huge bonus. My grandad has more money now than when working as less to do with it & gets more help towards cost of things so he has no complaints. It's those of us that are working now that are worse off what with pay freezes & pay cuts. I've been lucky this year getting a 4% pay rise but previous 2 years I've had 1% and last year 0. Disposable income for people our age has continued to decrease while OAPs has increased and that trend will continue.
Gemini
We've never had a great deal of money ~ my husband being a milkman for the most part of his working life ~ and me just a mere cleaner for the majority of mine after having children. We've been retired for a number of years now but I've not found it that difficult to find the extra £3. It seems strange the ones who are doing most of the moaning on here aren't even affected by the increase so the obvious conclusion is it's just something else they can say against a management they've never liked.
mdmc82
Those moaning about all adults paying the same (although children are free) can save money & their moaning next year when we might have no stadium or speedway to watch!! 😕

Daytripper
Well it is Horton.. TBF I've always found Mick Horton alright to talk to. He's not my promoter so maybe I don't have the frustrations that Cov fans have but I don't think he is as bad as he's painted and there are quite a few that are worse. I think sometimes it's a case of give a dog a bad name.

I'm sure he always means well but just gets it wrong too often. I agree with him on concession price though. PROVIDED he is promoting the student price to the students of Coventry. 190557
The student concession is fantastic. It means NOBODY has to pay more than £5 to get in.

The next press release did the add the student price.
190557
I've never seen so many 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70 year old students all going through the student turnstile with their newley purchased student cards. It,s very generous of Mick to offer this concession and I can assure him it's appreciated.

Gemini
Was Gem at the front as I heard she has signed up for pole dancing lessons at her local college? Ha Ha. I'll sign up for 'Synchronized Mobility Scooter' lessons if there is one.
