stevebrum
Bring in Bjarne. When KK is fit on May 1st (which would be convenient as it's the day the heat leader list is no longer relevant) we can drop the dodgy Pole for the returning KK! Why would KK be out till May 1? Even if he had a broken collarbone he wouldn't be out that long. Advocating cheating already eh?
Woz01
I didn't go but a mate says Woryna looked better after each heat he raced. I wouldn't write him off just yet but its easy to make him a scapegoat considering we had plenty of points available. Already showed much more than Jamrog, it's not fair to base an opinion on Woryna using another riders form from a year ago. On a plus side it seems Josh Bates had a great last two rides in the Ben Fund, I can see him and Sarj making another improvement this season. SCB
Woryna will probably get 5.xx but as we have 6+ points available he's failing by a point. Makes sense if you can to bring in a proven 6+ rider for him when the rules allow.

theflyingkiwi
Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but does student admission cover Uni students with a NUS card? Website is vague.

You would expect anyone with an NUS card to be a student - I'd like to see them argue it doesn't count. How much more proof do you need of being a student that membership to the union or students?! SCB
Not worth the plastic they're printed on, easily available online... A huge tool for fraud.. So what proof do you think will be accepted? dragging a teacher along with his/her wage slip to prove they're a teacher and to vouch for you? If you have an NUS card you are a student. If you don't want to accept NUS cards you shouldn't have a student price.

Problem with that is, you become a student, get a card, then leave.. you don't have to hand the card in. An official letter from your university with supporting photo ID is probably less easy to forged.. NUS cards are no longer valid for lots of things... arnieg
Part time students can have NUS cards, they could also be working part time earning 50 grand - should they get discounted admission?

Steve0
Why? If they are a student then they are a student no matter what wealth they have or have access to!
arnieg
If they are a student then they are a student no matter what wealth they have or have access to!So a 45 year old working for Goldman Sachs doing a part time MSC merits this a discount even though they are a higher rate taxpayer? SCB
Why? Because it's a students price. Not a "poor students" price. What next, tiered pricing based on how much you earn or how much you have in your bank account. A student is a student.
