Cupidstunt
Seems like coventry have now a decent team looking at the others in the EL, Poole will run away with the league. i wonder how the top teams in the PL would go on against some of these EL teams i think they would be closer than you think.
stevebrum
The old PL Is nearly as strong as the EL argument. It's as weak as it has ever been but still too strong for any PL team. The odd PL team might grab a win at home but would be beaten out of sight over 2 legs. Total certainty. I'm afraid I have to concur with stevebrum on this, the difference in quality between EL and PL is still to massive, any result over 2 legs would always be an EL win by 25/35 points aggregate....

Yet year on year some PL fantasists reckon the EL is that weak. It isn't.

Don't agree that Poole will run away with it, Swindon look a strong team as do Belle Vue, Coventry look basement material to me.
SteveLyric2
I don't disagree with your assessment FB. In fact I'll put my colours to the mast and say that Poole will not top the league come the end of 2016 season.
speedybee
Belle Vue for the title..
Starman2006
Belle Vue for the title.. Trophies are handed out in October, not December..
Woz01
Id go for Belle Vue too with Poole 2nd. The rest are so far below those two so it'll depend on team changes if any of the others can match them in the playoffs.
Cupidstunt
Belle Vue have replaced Josh G with Ritchie Worrall and signed Steve Boxhall, so in my eyes they are weaker than last year and didn't win the league so why would they win the league now, they are also moving to a new track so won't have any home track advantage to start with and probably won't for most of the season. Coventry have 3 heat leaders as good as any in the league. Swindon have Somersets team from 2013 so if the EL is far better than the PL then they will struggle if we go on what people say on here about the EL PL divide

I still think Brady may be a weak link and changes may have to be made during the season, our strength will be our reserves.
waiheke1
U don't think Doyle and Morris have improved since 2013? Yes aces are marginally weaker, but most other teams look a lot weaker. Coventry have a strong top 2, an average 3rd hl, but the weakest bottom 3 in the league. Poole still have to be favorites. I still think Brady may be a weak link and changes may have to be made during the season, our strength will be our reserves.Brady will no doubt get some time at reserve to boost his confidence, I would have no concerns there. If there is to be a change I can only see it being replacing watt with a stronger hl, and that would make u almost unbeatable over two legs. Aces51
On balance I think Belle Vue are as strong as last season. Boxall is a better rider than Nielsen and will score as many points more than Stefan as Richie may score less than Josh. Add to that the likely improvement from Cook and Fricke and they could even be stronger. Edited December 24, 2015 by Aces51

Aces51
Just remember that titles aren't won on paper but on the track I don't think I said anything about winning titles and we all know that some teams perform above expectations and some below. It's too early to form an opinion about who will finish where in the league until all of the teams are known.

I agree Boxall is stronger than Nelson but don't think Richie Worrall will score as many as Grajczonek but as Belle Vue were a top 4 team in 2015, that stands them in good stead for 2016. For example another top 4 team Coventry seem a lot weaker for 2016! Edited December 25, 2015 by szkocjasid
proud panther
Think Horton is full of rubbishe, but really hope for good new's regarding Coventry's future in 2016.

Mid April I reckon.

I prefer to be an optimist life is so much better that way and the shocks no greater if things go wrong.
