LisaColette
Bomber made the statement he is open to offers for next season when asked where he will be next year at Monmore Green tonight. Is he looking at getting out while he can or just a basic answer to speculate. Either way it seemed to be very much that teams will not be as strong next season and if Bomber stays he should be number one with Garrity also a heat leader. Get ready for a watered down Elite League or one big league with 20 or so teams Bomber said he was open to offers??! 😲 Bloomin' heck. Bees_Man
Not even convinced bees will run next season. Well if the league is so watered down we have an FT reserve now as heat leader well I'm afraid it's the end. I love watching Garrity but that seems extreme ! SCB
1. I'd expect any rider who has yet to sign a contract to be "open to offers" - you never know the EL Glasgow might just pop up and offer you a 50% pay rise, you'd be stupid to say no. 2. Garrity will not be a heat leader even in a weaker EL! If he is there will not be enough riders to go around and low orders will be doubling up in the same league! He is a PL #1 and quite capable of maintaining that. The anomaly is that he was an FTR - although this no doubt helped his progress.

The anomaly is that he was an FTR - although this no doubt helped his progress. Think about it for a second. If Garrity is one of the heat leaders, in a 10 team league you'll have to have 4 riders (at least) below him to make second strings and reserves. Start looking at the 40 riders below Garrity in the PL and NL and what is being claimed is that these riders would be second strings and reserves. Yet BV want to charge between £17 and £23 for this league! Good luck getting someone to pay £23 to watch a league where Garrity is a heat leader! mdmc82
Bomber said he was open to offers??! 😲 Bloomin' heck. He's not exactly going to say he's already signed any where if he hasn't before the AGM or if it's not been official announced. He said on tapes up only a couple of weeks ago that he want to be back with Coventry. We have his testimonial to look forward to as well. So why doesn't he say he wants to stay at Coventry when asked last night then? It's what he usually says.
Woz01
So why doesn't he say he wants to stay at Coventry when asked last night then? It's what he usually says. Just means he hasn't signed a deal yet which is no surprise as the AGM hasn't happened yet. He'll be at Brandon next year I'm sure especially with his testimonial pencilled in for March.
KIRKYLANE
I hope that a new track is found for Coventry by 2017 which is far more important.

stevebrum
Not perfect or we would have won the league and we were never going to beat Poole Lead the league for a huge chunk of the season and finished top 2 in league table. Pretty good in most people's eyes.

Woz01
The way the league is likely to be at this stage Harris may well be a genuine number 1 next season. Our problem this season was if a heatleader scored well there was no back up from the other 2. Needed a little more top end strength and a good scoring number 2.
