Woz01
I now know why Mick Horton had a go at Matt Ford in the Star last week. He said he doesn't like the way Matt Ford does business, but it was Matt Fords perogative and Horton should know this. That all depends what it is to be fair. Steve Shovlar
That all depends what it is to be fair. I cant say before the official source. Mick Horton was vague in the star and it wasn't clear what he was on about but guess things will liven up on here soon. Not trying to be I know but you dont ner ner ner. Just not rocking any boats. Fair enough. As i said all depends what it is as there are still rules that promoters have to comply with.

dabbsjoe
don't Poole have first option on all the assets that were bought under Frost due to the Readypower connection ? could Bjerre be one of these ?
LisaColette
For Coventry's sake I hope not! Said it was a bad idea to annoy Matt
Gemini
Annoying Matt is not a new thing. You can go back 6 years when Coventry had the cheek to beat the Pirates home and away and take the championship. We all know what happened after that.

Such ancient history, but I guess that's all Coventry fans can harp back to. As. a Swindon Town FC fan, its like harping back to the Div 1 playoff Final at Wembley against Leicester. We won and went up. Leicester stayed put. A great day. Look at the difference now. Same really with the speedway EL since 2010.

Game On
So then Horton should know better! I would be annoying him at every opportunity as it maybe our last season.🤗
mdmc82
He was the implicationBjarne is meant to be on his way to Poole. I wouldn't be too impressed with Bjerre as usually more miss than hit. Zengota, MJJ or Sundstrom would be good if they fit Edited April 25, 2016 by mdmc82

mdmc82
Along with Bjarne and Zengota : Not heard anything concrete about Zengota only a rumour on here. Bjarne has been a strong rumour for a while. Personally think he's as hit and miss as Watt. Edited April 25, 2016 by mdmc82
Wolfsbane
If Cov are considering Bjerre then we have to assume they've given up hope of the play offs
Woz01
To be fair we are after a 3rd heatleader not a number 1. All the names mentioned will be fine but I would have a preference to Zengota.

Half the Coventry fans have already deserted the club judging by the size of the crowd on Friday. Why would Horton want to splash out thousands when theres no one there to watch? heathen chemistry
I would be annoying him at every opportunity as it maybe our last season. i'd do more than annoy him, maybe all the other promoters too scared to come out with what really goes on at the agm , maybe there a bit like david cameron 'we're in it together' lol just one big corrupt cabal like fifa

Ever had of the saying 'keep your friends close and your enemies closer..'? Maybe he should try that. Cos if you want to use a Poole asset you might find yourself getting ripped off with the loan fee. Not saying Matt would do that or anything..

Not saying Matt would do that or anything.. what comes around goes around..have you heard that one , or what about... karma is a bitch, if you think ford can go round ruling through fear your very much mistaken as those two quotes above always ring true! as for getting ripped off with loan fees yes a few promoters have by way of the riders not performing for whatever reasons, thats why if i was a promoter i would think more than twice about doing loans deals with poole riders....
