Pretty much knew all that didnt we. Highly unlikely a new stadium will be ready in 2017 even if they do announce the new site by Christmas. Horton is just exploring options because lets face it Horton doesn't have the means to build a new track, we are basically at the mercy of Sandhu and Heaver to provide that. A temporary move to Leicester would only work for a year or two.

Part of the reason why I said it'll work for a year or two. I can understand a short term move but it would only work if their was movement about building a new stadium. Why would fans bother going to Leicester after a year or two if there wasn't something for us to look forward to?

Do you think maybe if Sandu big if builds a new stadium he may run it with Heaver as promoter .Also it said on the BBC bit that the if the new stadium got the go ahead it was in the Rugby area ?

Has crossed my mind that Sandhu would want to be in charge of both Speedway and Stox at a new stadium, he'd want maximum revenue to pay for it. Rugby council have said they are keen for the sport to remain in the area. I can see some positives that a new stadium will happen but without a site and firm plans its hard not to feel pessimistic.

Were told we would know the site by Christmas. Hopefully that promise will be kept and we can start to see things moving.

If we do move to Leicester let's hope we sign some gaters as you can't make many passes there!

There are a lot of fans who wouldn't have the transport to travel to Leicester to support the bees. It would also mean watching gate and go most of the time. Not ideal at all.

Really sad when we have a good stadium already that's going to be destroyed just to build more houses

probably saddest closure Brandon.....had loads of great nights their and met long term friends to this day...epic british finals and a track that has many stand points with good views.....that place ..feels...like a venue..always amazed to use air horns with houses soo close

It could be the greatest thing to happen to the club but could also be the worst, its all up in the air. If we do need a temporary move then the club would need to provide transport to get fans to come along.

Of course not ideal as a seamless transition to a new (cost effective) stadium would be the preferred option. But if a temporary move to Leicester does enable the Bees to continue then we should all support the notion and travel time stadium to stadium is 30 mins. There is no point going on about the track (BTW Bomber passes there regularly) because it is what it is - Unless DH does a complete U-turn.

However, I wonder if there will be a chance that Bees get Saturday night and Lions move to Friday...or at least it will be interesting to see what if any difference there is in attendance between the two race nights.

I think Bees would still keep the seniority on Friday night ?
