SharpenRake
We have had the benefit of Sarjeant being a 3 pointer and he has found his level as a 5 something rider albeit with a dubious starting technique. Victor is the far greater prospect IMO and should be retained. He needs a shove sometimes but his development would continue nicely between riding in the top league in Sweden and having continuity with the Tigers over here. Lawson and Summers will be retained as we own their registration thereafter i think we will make changes. We need a strong No1 and if we could twist his arm id have Anders Thomson back on an average less than 6. Im sure we could arrange to pay his air fares and he wouldnt feel the need to race his team mates. I listened to some of the media stuff last night with Stewart Dickson saying he wanted to go with a young team, though i wouldnt discount Matthew Wethers on a 4 as a reserve next year. Sarjeant has reached his level - your having a laugh. its his first full season in the premier league for goodness sake, new tracks, set ups etc We need a strong no1 who do you have in mind - tai woffinden!!!!!. this year the only riders with a higher average than Richard are Simon stead who lasted 6 matches, craig cook, Danny King, Ed Kennet, Josh, masters and Wolbert (I'm sure we'd love him back) . oh and by the way Aaron is currently 12th in the averages. So we keep Richard and Aaron - I totally agree with you there - how would you fit in a guy with a higher average. I wonder were you the guy that booed Steve Lawson at Exeter cos he didn't get double figures despite finishing top of the averages!
MD
Sarjeant has reached his level - your having a laugh. its his first full season in the premier league for goodness sake, new tracks, set ups etc Been riding since joining NL in 2010 and EL since 2013, guested previously at many PL tracks including ours. Many of his points are from anticipating the start, more often than not when he sits still at the gate he runs a last. Have never seen him take an opponent from the back. His Fast Track status in the EL will shortly be at an end removing 2 reserves heats from his scoring. Not for me! We need a strong no1 who do you have in mind - tai woffinden!!!!! Was hoping Nick Morris but not to be. New options need to be explored.
Red Panda
I think Poole started the price hike for a Final...... but I will stand coorected Poole have never hiked the price for a final.................Wednesday in the play off final is the same cost as a normal league meeting.............. Paulco
Indeed..i hope the Buckfast didnt run out in the bar for you,George and Mr Paulco tonight (if he was there that is..i await his post match/mortem with much interest ) Of course I was there , me and a few hundred other Tiggers . Don't serve Buckfast in the Armadale bar , not on draught anyway , but they serve a very passable pint of best and poured by a very attractive young lady . As for the post mortem , your lot were annoyingly efficient as usual , we were mince . Edited September 28, 2015 by Paulco

george.m
Forgive my ignorance, but won't Edinburgh have an objection to Glasgow racing on a Friday night? Promotion wise, they're not the only hurdle to overcome based on last year's vote when Glasgow applied for Friday's.

baba
I've struggled some sundays with the 3pm start with me working Saturday night shift, the only downside for me on a friday would be definitely no beer but id bet the track would be super with the cooler temperature.
SharpenRake
Forgive my ignorance, but won't Edinburgh have an objection to Glasgow racing on a Friday night? I've had a dream - Alex harkness steps down as chair of BSPA but his final act is to ask all promoters to support speedway on a Friday at Glasgow as it will be good for british speedway!!!!! topsoil
Promotion wise, they're not the only hurdle to overcome based on last year's vote when Glasgow applied for Friday's. I can see the argument from the Edinburgh perspective, they maybe wouldn't want competition from a rival so close to them, but I can't see how other promotions could have a say when other tracks not close to them ride. Was this down to rider availability?

MD
was down to southern teams not wanting to come to Scotland twice, I think , it interferes with their northern tours A once a year event to come to GLA is not a valid reason. Southern teams already have to come north twice anyway as Berwick and Worky both ride a Saturday and currently Glasgow and Newcastle both on a Sunday.

Southern teams already have to come north twice anyway as Berwick and Worky both ride a Saturday and currently Glasgow and Newcastle both on a Sunday. Does it make a difference? One tour Edinburgh Friday, Berwick Saturday, Newcastle Sunday, the next tour Redcar Thursday, Glasgow Friday, Workington Saturday for example.
