SteveLyric2
Dak North finally got to see his father Rod last Friday/Saturday after flying back straight after Darcy's benefit meeting on Thursday. 'Still in hospital and on a long road to recovery' was how his dad was described! (But doubtless only those that want to believe, will!!)
TesarRacing
Because robert72 has claimed to be an ex rider with no evidence to back it up whatsoever. Geddit? If they don't, then unlucky.

'Still in hospital and on a long road to recovery' was how his dad was described! (But doubtless only those that want to believe, will!!) There is nothing to believe. His dad had an accident, bad injury to his hand. Not serious enough for his son to be given updates or indeed for him to chase. Ford saw an opportunity to strengthen, he took it. That's about it.

Gemini
I thought he'd had his arm chopped off for a moment. Looking again you can just see his fingers round Dak's waist. https://instagram.com/p/8rVZhTI4UW/ Edited October 14, 2015 by Gemini

As far as I'm aware, Dak's dad is not a public figure so he doesn't have to tell anyone anything! Take your conspiracy theory elsewhere!
stevebrum
I thought he'd had his arm chopped off for a moment. Looking again you can just see his fingers round Dak's waist. https://instagram.com/p/8rVZhTI4UW/ The only thing that matters is that he has been in hospital for a long time which you wouldn't do for any minor injury /operation so it's clear it's been a serious problem. Good to see both appear happy and continued good luck to Dak's dad on his ongoing recovery. Just waiting for the first person to still question there is anything wrong with him going by the photo alone.

Take your conspiracy theory elsewhere! its got nothing to do with him being a public figure or not , its rules and procedure, all other teams could just make up any old excuse of a riders family member taking a tumble however minor or major just to get a guest rider in to make them stronger it would be taking the pee out of all paying fans would it not...... there has to be some justification

It would be awful to penalise a team for 'allegedly' replacing an out off form rider particularly given said rider helped his team win the league by scoring OK in the Play Off Final. It's a joke you couldn't make up.

'sudden' as in the day of the meeting or hours before a meeting is different , and a replacement is allowed of course if theres time to get one this wasnt the case here, dak had an 'off' meeting friday ( at the time i said to myself that poole would try to get a change for dak for the 2nd leg ) the 2nd leg was monday 3 nights later , the wheels were put in motion for daks replacement late friday early saturday. Poole never broke the rules though...........get over it and move on.............. RP i didnt say poole 'broke ' the rules......the rules are at the moment a shambles and are quite open to many interpretations, which just happen to make speedway look more and more irrelevent to newcomers , until there is some form of independent panel governing rules and regs this will only continue leicester made a complaint early on in the season about a match at there home ground , lakeside changed there team lineup just before the meeting started , norrie allen complained to the scb for clarification and was told its up to chris van straaten to decide if lakeside's team was allowed .... its ridiculous that a fellow elite league manager can decide other elite league teams line ups...... They were going to easily see off Coventry even with Dak (who it's suggested was out of form). he scored 13 in 2 legs in the final which was as crucial as any of the other Poole riders points. Poole gained nothing, plus Dak was obviously worried about his dad.

Poole if I remember correctly had a medical certificate for Dak more than 24 hours before the meeting.............the way you are going on if any rider needs an exemption from a meeting at whether they are injured or say for example a family member has passed away then they should give more than 24 hours notice............it does not work like that........... When my father passed away at one in the morning I had to wait until 8 am to tell work I would not be in for a few days while I sorted things out............remember speedway is a job to the rider like working in a call centre is to me.............you cannot predict what is going to happen in your life and when.............
