thecoombdog
The reason we needed a new no 5 was injuries. Kylmakorpi had been brilliant at Brandon and beat Magic, Holder, Zagar, Doyle, Nicholls & Iversen. Of course him being missing weakened the bees. Anybody who thinks otherwise is deluded. Swindon failed for several weeks to sign somebody to replace Adrian and still brought in a 6+ rider for Ward. As Rosco & Horton said there is nobody out there who wants to come over esp when it would have meant bringing over equipment for a couple of meetings. If Poole were in the situation of needing a rider for 2 or 4 meetings then they wouldn't be using RR in the second leg of semi final. You lot were ranting about Horton a few weeks ago saying he had blown you the title by not spending and now you have some other excuses you are on to something else and have forgotten all about that.
TesarRacing
Incidentally, don't people who are signed off with a medical certificate find it difficult to get insurance eg travel insurance? In any case, Dak's mother is keeping him as informed as the doctors are allowing and she has told him not to come back yet! That doesn't mean he isn't being severely affected by the circumstances! Oh dear, I have heard it all now and I thought better of you Skidder. An international speedway rider takes out travel insurance each time he flies! Poole used to be sponsored by an insurance company - I am sure they could have sorted him out!!!
Woz01
Just checked Dakota's last 6 Poole matches prior to the playoff 8+2 @ Leicester 3+1 @ Poole 3+1 @ Lakeside 10+2 paid max @ Poole 8+1 @ Poole 10+2 @ Belle Vue Lakeside is a tricky place to go anyway so his bad form is 1 home meeting, Coventry fans talking b0!!0x to justify their apparent "unjust". Your whinging is getting horrendous. As thecoombdog also says, your trying to deflect the blame away from your own clubs failings. He scored 0 at home to Swindon, conveniently didn't mention that. Add to the 0 at Brandon he isn't in any form at all. What are you on about? No one at Swindon is making any excuses as far as I can see. We are more than happy with Killer. Without Ward at 1 BV are a better all round team than us so they will beat us fair and square over 2 legs. I said all along we wouldn't have beaten Poole even with Ward in the team. So when we go out tonight or Thursday I won't be bitter at all. You stated Bees had shortcomings signing riders yet most other clubs had the same issue including yourselves. I don't see how Horton is making excuses he isn't happy with the North situation like many speedway fans in general. We called this last week that North would be replaced. Horton(sponsors) was willing to splash the cash. No one wanted to come.
TesarRacing
Gutted. No Jason Garrity tomorrow, Josh Bates guests in his place. Very lucky for Poole as that's wreaked our chances I doubt there will be any news about Garrity until the Bees coach has left! Wrong again!!
BritPete
I suppose the relevant question here is, are Poole allowed, by the rules, to have a facility for a rider who has family problems? Nothing else really matters.

Rob VDS
He has a medical certificate so yes but how you can get one for compassion baffles me! I would imagine that in the case of speedway, not being in the right frame of mind to do your job due to family worries is far more relevant than it would be in other occupations due to the damage that can be done on a speedway bike. Therefore a doctor is likely to provide a certificate on that basis. Edited September 21, 2015 by Rob VDS

Apparently it's in the rules as an amendment added by Matt Ford after Dakota North scored nothing at Coventry , Nothing to see here folks ,just the normal cheating from Ford which has made our sport a laughing stock over the last few years .

Because It's Poole, and they are known cheats. The Bspa always bend over backwards to help them.

Poole knew if they did they wouldn't get a facility hence North getting a doctors note. My doctor would certainly not give me a note for compassion and I work in a place where one missed step could cause a serious fire He would tell me I'm entitled to compassionate leave from my employer, there is no need for a note to get it.

Woz01
Fair point and I don't know the answer to be honest. As I say speedway is different to most occupations so I guess that's the difference? Id say its bending the rules to get the best outcome for Poole. No blame attached to North id feel the same. Not sure id be playing golf though!
Rob VDS
You cannot deny that is how it seems though .... I took umbrage at his cheat comments, in the same way his use Fraud instead of Ford makes me pity him. Look I get it, the fact it's north after his poor form is bound to raise suspicions especially with the way you all view Poole. But it is what it is, and while he isn't in the best of form I still think he is the better option than any guest.
