RobMcCaffery
I'd suggest to Coventry fans who want to strike out at Poole for this latest amazing coincidence involving Poole to hit the Pirates' promotion where it hurts. Stay home and send your admission money to the SRBF. Hit these people directly, where it hurts and instead help those who deserve the money. Speedway used to be about four riders on a track. Now it's too much about finding the right loophole. Poole have 'form' and if they are indeed innocent in this case there's plenty of other cases where any innocence is far from clear cut. Stay home Bees. Enough is enough.A round of golf might be a better use of your time.
stevebrum
Puzzling situation. Surely everyone feels for North If his dad is ill? However is really playing golf 24 hrs later the best thing to do?? However are Poole really cheating? ? Kennett for North is worse not better surely? I find the stance that Coventry have taken a little odd too. Still Poole were likely to win anyway or am I missing something?

baba
As a neutral I still think coventry have a decent chance, no garrity as he's not fit but young josh bates has came on leaps and bounds this year and deserves more credit than he gets. Going with r/r is much better than freddie and should produce a double figure score. Kyle howarth can mix it up and could be a match winner, harris will try his heart out, hans is riding well the now and on his day can go through the card unbeaten. Danny king defo has the ability and will give it his all and james sarge will do the business at reserve. It wouldn't stop me travelling down to poole if I was a bee's fan the lads deserve your support on a difficult night it might just spur them on. Woz01
I'm not missing anything. Kennett is weaker and usually goes missing when the pressure is on. Have you seen Norths scores the last few weeks? Kennett strengthens them greatly. I've woke up thinking we can still do this but of course it a long shot. R/R should be good for around 7 points but what we need most is Howarth to get into some form like last years playoff final at Poole. Sarjeant has shown more than once he can beat Newman around Poole but he will will have to do it more than once tonight. Hopeful of Josh Bates scoring a few too. No concerns over Harris, Hans or King as they've all done well around Poole at least once this season. Its a huge ask after what's gone on over the weekend but Cmon You Bees!!!
mdmc82
I'm not missing anything. Kennett is weaker and usually goes missing when the pressure is on. Kennett flew around Brandon a couple of weeks ago. He actually can't get worse than North who hasn't scored in his last couple of meetings Bees have a heat leader missing and are having to use two tier 2 riders instead of the best reserve in the league. Poole will win but that won't nessasarily be because they are the better team as somebody put it but more because they strengthened against a depleted injury hit Coventry. Garrity has been amazing and Joonas scoring double at home so shame we were weakened going in to the play offs. thecoombdog
Perfect excuse for Horton to blame someone else when he couldn't sign a decent number 2 and 5 which would have won them the league. Now all the Cov fans will say injuries and cheating cost them thus deflecting the attention away from his shortcomings. Well played sir!

Now all the Cov fans will say injuries and cheating cost them thus deflecting the attention away from his shortcomings. Well played sir! Shortcomings involve Swindon too. Had over 8 points to play with yet could only sign a 6pt man when you couldve signed pretty much any rider in the world. That will likely lose Swindon the title. No one wants to ride in the UK even more so for potentially 2 meetings only.

Now all the Cov fans will say injuries and cheating cost them thus deflecting the attention away from his shortcomings. Well played sir! The reason we needed a new no 5 was injuries. Kylmakorpi had been brilliant at Brandon and beat Magic, Holder, Zagar, Doyle, Nicholls & Iversen. Of course him being missing weakened the bees. Anybody who thinks otherwise is deluded. Swindon failed for several weeks to sign somebody to replace Adrian and still brought in a 6+ rider for Ward. As Rosco & Horton said there is nobody out there who wants to come over esp when it would have meant bringing over equipment for a couple of meetings. Daniel Smith
Just checked Dakota's last 6 Poole matches prior to the playoff 8+2 @ Leicester 3+1 @ Poole 3+1 @ Lakeside 10+2 paid max @ Poole 8+1 @ Poole 10+2 @ Belle Vue Lakeside is a tricky place to go anyway so his bad form is 1 home meeting, Coventry fans talking b0!!0x to justify their apparent "unjust". Your whinging is getting horrendous. As thecoombdog also says, your trying to deflect the blame away from your own clubs failings.
g13webb
What I find so annoying, Poole are the best equipped side in the Elite league and would usually win most 2 leg matches against anybody. Looking at the quality of their riders, they are far better than any other team and as Mildo says they have tremendous strength in depth. Every imaginable piece of luck always goes their way. Coventry with injured riders will struggle to contain the Pirates at Wimbourn Road, and Poole could have so easily covered North absence with RR. and still win. Bending the rues to ensure success destroys everything. I for one couldn't give a T--- now who wins. As per usual Ford and his BSPA compatriots have F-----d up again.
BritPete
Coventry can blame tomorrows defeat on Kennett, Matt Ford and terrible injury luck. Nothing to do with drawing 45-45 on your home track in the 1st leg. Agree! Fantastic post!
Gavan
Wasn't the GP in Poland the same place as Darcy was in hospital?? Didn't Holder not ride in Sweden on the Tuesday after Darcys crash?? Therefore Holder didn't ride his next meeting on compassionate grounds the same as Dakota North??nice to see you understood my post! Irrelevent the meetings he missed I'm talking about his state of mind wether it be 2 days or 1 week. Do you think Holder was emotionally able to do that gp? BritPete
As I posted before a wheel was turned, Fraud is chasing a hat trick of wins, and if needed, his bag of dirty tricks would be even bigger than usual, and that's exactly what has happened. I hope it pours down all day.
Shale Searcher
Weather forecast for raceday.. The main rain band coming in off the Atlantic this morning has slowed and also has broken up somewhat. So we are looking at a more heavy showers day than the originally forecast persistent rain band. So I revise the clear-up time until late afternoon, around 3/4pm, however, with the rain being more of the showery type, although heavy at times, there won't be any significant difference in the rain total. As long as the track has been prepared with the rainfall in mind, should still go ahead. PLAY OFF WEEK FORECAST (Provisional) Play-off final weather is looking in FI, as being rather blooming good!! Temps in the really High teens, or even low 20c's, not much rain on offer, Indianesque summer type!!! Daniel Smith
Screamer .north worse meetings are the last 3 for whatever reason he cant score a point The 0 at Coventry has obvious reasoning 3+1 @ Lakeside, many of heatleaders have done similar or worse So is really 1 poor performance at home from his previous 6 Poole matches prior to the playoffs bad form? Not for me

Without Ward at 1 BV are a better all round team than us so they will beat us fair and square over 2 legs. I said all along we wouldn't have beaten Poole even with Ward in the team. So when we go out tonight or Thursday I won't be bitter at all.

Not sure where you are getting your info from but wrong. His last two home scores as heat leader are 3,0 http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/15027/poole-swindon-el-7th-september http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/14990/poole-kings-lynn-el-30pm The points he scored last month were as a 2nd string. He hadn't scored well since becoming a heat leader (0,0,3) Edited September 21, 2015 by mdmc82
