LisaColette
If any bees fans are coming tomorrow don't forget roadworks on A338 where traffic could back up on A31 esp in rush hour. You have been warned!
Starman2006
How the hell have Poole been granted a facility for a rider who is not sick or injured..what's the point in having rules if they are not stuck to..I'm a neutral and if Poole win it will mean nothing as they are clearly getting away with it again just like they have time and time again We have a medical certificate. Whats your next question ?
Bee 26
I'm sure without Garrity we wouldn't have made the top 4, he has made us look better than we are. Let's see how we get on without him
lino wolf
The Cheats should win this around 55-35 !!
abbo
This Orion guy What planet is he on how did Garrity get a Doctors note on a Sunday, he could only hobble after the meeting at least we have a genuine reason, sorry Poole have done it again worked the proverbial flanker. I have spent the last two days wondering what they would do yes replaced the only none scorer for Poole on Friday night. I know nothing of Dakotas situation but I feel they have stretched this injury or Doctors note to the full and this is 2015's fiddle by Poole how on earth do the authorities allow them to get away with it only describe it as unblelievable then again it's ghost crazy sport with crazy administrators that allow it.
Popular Post The Voice Of Reason
Er , be careful where you are going with that one, or someone might remind you again who was the team manager at the time of drill gate.Rosco isn't my favourite person in this sport. However, in his defence, I can categorically assure you that he didn't have a clue about Ed's misdemeanour in 2011. As for this current scenario. Despite the comments, nobody on here truly knows whether this is a genuine situation, or not. The problem is that Matt Ford truly is 'the little boy that cried wolf'. He, and his club, have 'history' of cheating; and using various scenarios to their advantage. And given this fact, you cannot blame people for having at least an element of doubt in their minds. All but the usual sycophants of Poole Speedway (and the supportive 'love in' coming their way from one or two in Wiltshire) will have a doubt that this situation is genuine. The fact that North has been riding so badly adds 'motive' to the scenario. If Mr. North senior is so poorly that it is effecting his son in this way, then it does beg the question why he hasn't flown home. Talk of 'compassionate leave' so that North can get his head together has, in all honesty, the depth of a grain of sand. If Mr. North is badly injured (and everyone would obviously hope that he really isn't) then, life-threatening or not, I would expect Dak North to have been on a plane to be at his side; rather than undergoing therapy with Dr. Watt on a golf course. That, I think, is what many cannot get their head around. If Dak is truly concerned, then surely he would have wanted to be at home with his family. I think that the majority of people faced with a similar situation unquestionably would. The alternative is potentially fearing the worst whenever your phone rang. You would be beating yourself up mentally not knowing the current state of play regarding a loved-ones' condition; indeed, with the fact of not knowing constantly on your mind (when, being human, you will be thinking of a number of worst-case scenarios) it will potentially make your mindset worse. You'd also probably be feeling pretty useless; located on the other side of the World. Again, not a good condition to be in to aid your recovery. As I said above, nobody really knows the truth in this matter. However, if you consider something termed 'the balance of probability' then it does, at best, appear to be extremely suspect. I just wonder whether this compassionate leave will extend into the play-off final meetings? If it does, yet Dakota North is still within the UK, then I think the question of cheating would have been well and truly answered.

Grachan
To be fair, Dakota North will need to be in the UK if he wants a visa for next year.

abbo
Just read Mick Horton's summary of events over the last two days if you haven't then read if. He gives you the full information regard the antics of all involved with the actions of the Poole management. Well done Mick Horton, shame on you Poole there's an old saying cheats never prosper, let's hope this comes true tomorrow!!

Daniel Smith
This thread is hilarious and not in a good way. I don't see the issue with North taking time out, we all react differently to bad news. Having a round of golf with a mate is kind of what mattress should do isn't it rather than turning yourself inside out with worry. I know if a mate was struggling the first thing I'd do is get them out and about. The reaction on here has been nothing but pathetic. If Coventry lose its because their riders haven't stepped up. Poole could have Sayfutdinov as guest but that's irrelevant. It's all about the mentality of the riders you've got. Harris, King & Andersen can beat all of Poole's top 5. Sargent can beat all of Poole's reserves. On a good day Howarth can mix it. Coventry need tomorrow to be a good day. The lose of Garrity is more pivotal than Poole bringing in Kennett. It's fookin Kennett for goodness sake Fingers crossed we actually see a cracking meeting and none of this BS and best wishes to both North and Garrity.

Fairly easy to see where the bees fans get their attitude from, the guy is a moron, simple as. Still I guess it's his attempt at a motivational speech for tomorrow which I understand. Or maybe covering his ass if they lose.
mdmc82
Those saying bees shouldn't miss Garrity tomorrow are mad. Even if you have a strong top 5, Reserves are just as important. Does that mean Poole wouldn't miss Newman. Yeah right. Poole are lucky they are strengthened against a depleted team Fairly easy to see where the bees fans get their attitude from, the guy is a moron, simple as. SCB
Oh I forgot - everyone's got it in for your team - referees, officials et al. Remind me again who EK was riding for when he was suspended following drillgate? Also, what team was docked 3points in a recent season. Don't think it was Poole or Swindon - and you dare to call others cheats! And theres the issue. BV call a meeting off due to a lack of riders, "Fine them. Take 3 points from them" but Poole do it and, *tumbleweed*
