In your opinion. There are many more far reaching and real reasons than Dak's absence (which has been explained more times than an Only Fool & Horses repeat!!) why folks walk away from the sport. This issue has nothing to do with it. So yes, time to move on and discuss current issues. The past is the past. You can't change it so whingeing about is pointless.

So why do feel to need to keep reading and replying everyday ? why don't take your own advice and stop whingeing and move on ?

You can't change the past (well actually you sort of can if you're the SCB ;)) but you can change the future and make sure it's now allowed again.

Eh?

I said if you have a family member in hospital it doesn't render you incapable of doing your job. Not the guy in the hospital of course!

Aaah, makes more sense.

I suppose it depends on the sensitivity of the individual affected and of course the employer!

You won't find many employers who will accept.. "Boss, my dad had an operation a few days ago, don't know what's wrong, not too bothered about finding out either, however, its distressing me, so I'll not work in 3 days time if that's ok"

Edited to add:

In the meantime, if you need me, I'll be playing golf, or down the arcade, not too sure yet!

In fairness not many bosses would!

if your boss could get someone to cover for you who could do a better job, then he might well let you have the time off!

Yea I bet this bloke called the Doctor don't know much about medical stuff .

Yes, am sure he has unlimited access to Dakota North's father's medical records so can make a suitably reasoned diagnosis,

Eh?

I said if you have a family member in hospital it doesn't render you incapable of doing your job. Not the guy in the hospital of course!

The only hilarious thing is people posting on something they have no interest in.

I have a general interest in speedway so peruse subjects across the leagues. Only posted as it's easily the daftest thread still active (amid some pretty stiff competition) so couldn't help myself. I'm not a Poole fan but the continuous anti-Poole stuff is actually counter productive as it's starting to sound like the rantings of the same vocal few, so they ultimately lose the argument. But I'll leave you to your fun, ttfn.

It's not what you said ..you said that it made you laugh that people were making comments knew nothing about medical matters ...quite clearly there people who do know .

I find people who don't take responsibility for their actions as nauseous. I find people who make excuses for people who don't take responsibility for their own actions as cretinous.

I can see you're the type of person who defends the joyrider who kills a child on the basis that it was the police's fault for not catching him.

'Obnoxious bunch' doesn't even come close.

This is the post i was referring too and telling a genuine Poole fan she is the type of person who would defend a joyrider who kills a child is obnoxious and go on to say we are a obnoxious bunch!

Did you quote the post where I quoted someone else just to emphasise that you are a liar or do you not understand English grammar?

I understand what obnoxious means.

I didn't call anyone obnoxious?

This forum is shyt, bye bye

What happened to bye bye!

I didn't call anyone obnoxious I quoted someone who used the phrase 'obnoxious bunch', don't you understand why the grammar makes it so?

You either don't understand English grammar or you are a liar, which one is it?

You said obnoxious bunch doesn't come close in response to a post from a Poole fan that infers that Poole fans are a obnoxious bunch. You may have said obnoxious bunch in response to another post calling Poole fans obnoxious but you still felt it was worth repeating.

Removing the quotation marks completely changes the meaning of the sentence.

Anyway, I'll give your understanding of grammar the benefit of the doubt and assume you're not stupid which makes your statement that I am the one calling Poole fans obnoxious a blatant lie which clearly makes you a liar.

I don't like liars, nor do I like people who don't take responsibility for their actions or their apologists.

Being a bit pedantic here aren't you? You're right you did not call Poole fans obnoxious. What you did do was imply they were worse than obnoxious.

No idea what you're on about as far as people taking responsibility for their actions but just wanted to point out your high horse isn't really justified here ✌

Someone said it was the refs fault Newman raced without goggles.

For some it is always someone else's fault and that makes me want to puke.

All I said was if a ref doesn't know the ruling about goggles then some riders may not. Meaning it wasn't intentional rule breaking. But ref should have dealt with it by excluding Newman.

Just giving a rider the benefit of the doubt, that's all!

I don't like liars either but ididn't lie as that infers i did it intentionally which i didn't, i may have misunderstood but i didn't lie.the referee was the one who should take responsibilty for his own actions or in this case inaction. A rider is unlikely to exclude himself even if he does know the rules which in most riders cases they don't.

You might be right, any thread where folk start posting that have no interest in it becomes the height of daftness.

Congrats for taking the thread to those levels!
