Posf2 - Swindon Robins Vs Belle Vue Aces 21 September 2015

The point here is that Zagar has been riding well in the UK recently so there is no gain in replacing him. I suspect Swindon would prefer him to ride in the hope that he is not 100% fit and they gain an advantage.

Not at all ...what we have here is rider who says is injured but somehow manages to ride everywhere but the uk ..if the replacement was not as good as Aj or they had been beaten in the first leg has been Aces fans would up in arms and going nuts about what he's doing .

The bottom line if he is fit enough to ride in gp's and today then he should be riding tomorrow .

Rosco has already apologised after accepting that riding in the GP caused furthest internal bleeding but obviously you disagree with him. Again it was made plain that riding today was to see if it was going to cause the same or similar problems but you seem to have difficulty understanding that as well. Edited by Aces51

Based on what I have read, Zagar has no excuse not to ride tomorrow, but no doubt it'll be take the p*ss out of the UK fans and not bother time tomorrow.

Should the Aces get a guest facility?, personally I think not, but in the interests of etc etc AJ will no doubt have spent the week getting a Blunsdon engine ready.

I think the outcome is a foregone conclusion especially if it rains, good luck in the final Aces unless a miracle happens.

As I said before I Doubt when Rosco apologised he knew Zagar would be riding with internal bleeding a few days later in yet another solo event .. I suspect Rosco also knew like most of us did that AJ has already been book to ride on Monday no matter happened today ... So saying it was a fitness test was a complete lie ..so the only person who has difficulty understanding is you

Come off it. If the guy is riding overseas then Belle Vue shouldn't have a facility unless he has withdrawn his services.

It seems that they can get a guest merely on the basis of him possibly not being able to ride as well as he normally does.

That can't be right.

I remember a few years back Renat Gafurov being unable to ride for Swindon in the semi final at Reading and we had to sack him to get a facility.

So what happens to all you accusations when zagar rides tomorrow ;)

Null and void. People have posted that AJ is already down to ride.

AJ Is on standby for all PO matches. Doesn't mean he's riding. There will be no news till tomorrow.

I know who a lot of aces fans want riding tomorrow ;)

He scores 3 points from 4 rides?

Who AJ ;) Edited by Phil The Ace

If he rides (which personally I doubt), I shall say fair play to him and hope the Robins can haul back the 14 points, if they don't, I shall wish the Aces well in the final.

Looking at the weather forecast, looks like a fair bit of rain all day up until late afternoon, 50/50 whether it's on I reckon?

A galant effort from the Ace even when not fit. It puts me in mind of PC back in '77 when he finished second in the world with a mashed up leg. We breed 'em strong up here as Garrity scored paid four in the two races after he reportedly broke his ankle. As with both those two I'd say the same to Zagar, don't ride pal, it was worth a try put if you 'ain't right then call it quits.

Shame the weather will prob ruin it because always like meetings with plenty of away fans there. Better atmosphere. Can see us getting 10/12 up then the double killing us much like the Wolves final years ago. Can't moan though as we got an extra couple of points from Batch in the first leg.

As for Zagar, if he can't ride tomorrow then he's taking the pee out of BV. If he can only ride 1 meeting before it flairs up again then he should have missed today. It's not their fault unless of course they have told him to stay at home. But Zagar is miles better than AJ and could be unstoppable round our gaff so I can't imagine they would do that.
