Posf2 - Swindon Robins Vs Belle Vue Aces 21 September 2015

I am guessing there was a dire shortage of brain cells and common sense in 1982?

I enjoyed trying to second guess who would be worse out of the Bees & the Robins.

Main difference Robins fans saying we were crap, Aces deserved it well done, Bees fans trying to come up with more excuses than a normal human being could imagine to justify their loss and accuse everyone else of cheating while crying like spoilt brats.

Shame there was no Havvy interview tonight, would have loved to hear his whinge (might have needed subtitles though).

Wow we were world class crap.

Beaten by a much, much better team.

Good luck to the Aces in the final against those dirty, snivelling Pirates.

I can handle being beat especially when it's by a team miles better than us. But what I can't take is a rider giving up which happened tonight. Well done BV. Hope they go on and win it.

And to our favourite Coventry stalker. F*ck off on to your own threads you nutty stalker. You won't find one Swindon fan on here saying we were unlucky or robbed so you are barking up the wrong tree. You wont find an argument with any of us. Beaten fair and square by a better all round team. We don't need to post pages and pages of excuses.

First of all well done the Aces by far the better team who's riders looked like they really wanted to win and good luck in the final .. As for Swindon a complete Shambles ...Batch has to be the worst captain since that Italian bloke left that cruise ship for the rest to die ...the biggest cheer of the night is when Wright replace in heat 13 ..I reckon I speak for most and hope that is his last match for the robins ...As for killer he's more like a circus act than a speedway rider these days ..for god sake man just stay on the bike .

Been a big fan of the play offs but tonight I have to admit that was a poor crowd and running the two meetings at once just not does work ..long delays that kill the crowd noise ...have the play offs on the teams race night and show one leg from each semi .. it's painful for the fans at both matches ...rant over

Come on Steve at least Killer was trying before falling off.

Just too reckless and at number 4 had easier rides. But you can never fault Killer for not trying. Over trying tho.

There's no doubt about it,when the going gets tough Batch goes missing.

Sooner he is out the GP'S the better as well.

Really impressed with the professional way Belle Vue dispatched swindon over the two legs.

No heroics, no thrilling maneuvers, calm collected and clinical.

I think swindon threw it away by over riding, they probably wouldn't have won anyway but the occasion proved just too much for them to handle.

Very good team, Lemon has got their attitude smack on, really looking forward to a cracking final, hopefully the weather is set fair.

Not much to add to the comments made already. However, I must add to the shocking shameful performance by Batchelor. I've previously said he bottles it when the going gets tough, but the evidence was clear for all to see as he entered bend 3 flanked by two riders, it was always going to be him that bottled it......and he did.....he's actually been doing it for years. Enough's enough and he should be shipped out as soon as possible.

Always been a fan of Kildemand and some of his early Swindon performances were magical. His 16 odd points at Birmingham, and some terrific passes at Blunsdon made him one of the most entertaining riders in the world. Since returning to Swindon this season, he has looked like a promising junior who if he managed to complete 4 laps and score some points you were eternally grateful.

Well done to the genuine Swindon riders, Nick Morris, Charles Wright and to a lesser extent Gregorz Zengota. And congrats to the Aces on a well deserved victory.

Batchelor was awful tonight. But can someone explain why Rosco does an article in the advertiser basically saying Troy you are not in next years team before the season is finished? Madness.

Really think Troy was giving him the two finger gesture tonight.

Well done Aces.

Well done Aces.

Can you post the link that claims this?

I have read the articles from the past week and it says no such thing.

The only mention of next year is talk of using assets in 2016.
