ouch
Must admit debating on here is a lost cause. I feel like Paxman interviewing some oily politician where straight questions get ignored as, if answered it would knock a large hole in their argument. "Did you threaten to overrule him"? "Did you threaten to overrule him"? "Did you threaten to overrule him"?
foreverblue
Good God what a load of B/S the bottom line is that 2 teams and i said 2 teams have ridden their hearts out for a full season to get into the play offs.Zagar be he stupid or testing to see if the injury was ok is still injured and not Belle vues fault so why should they lose out. So for me its about the team and the fans of both clubs and we all deserve to have 2 teams that are competative in a play off semi final So if Belle vue bring in Jonsson for Zagar then they are no stronger or weaker as they are both on a par with each other in the Elite league. So it is even for both clubs and then the team that wins goes through on merit and not because one has had to field a weakened team. But they are stronger with Jonsson who is in form and fully fit as opposed to Zagar who is not fully fit so they are very much better off with A.J
SUPERACE
But they are stronger with Jonsson who is in form and fully fit as opposed to Zagar who is not fully fit so they are very much better off with A.J Both riders are similar ability when fit. Should we have Zagar ride when not fit what a stupid sport that would be. He's not fit so we have replaced within the rules.
orion
He tried again yesterday resulting in once again a trip to hospital to have blood drained. He shouldn't be riding but he's that determined to ride he keeps trying. I now fear is season is Deffo over and we won't see him in the GPs
stevebrum
So presumably both will get the same amount of reaction from you then, Steve? Riders riding in GP'S and not El really gets my goat. Injury of course is subjective because it us clear Zagar is riding injured. However blatant manipulation of rules/averages is ten times worse in my opinion

He's not fit so we have replaced within the rules. Most riders ride not being fully fit at times during the season, if A.J wasn't available i think Zagar would ride, he was fit enough to ride yesterday. I said earlier in the week he would aggravate his injury!!

foreverblue
Correct but AJ is available so it makes sense he doesn't ride.So you agree he is being rested because you have a better option.
SUPERACE
So you agree he is being rested because you have a better option. He's not fit to ride. So under current rules the Aces have replaced him.
mdmc82
So you agree he is being rested because you have a better option. They don't have a better option. Not much difference between the two
hyderd
can anyone on here say there club wouldn't utilise a good guest for their number 1 who would be riding injured, in such an important match like this is.
65Sarge
God this is all a load of horsesh*t being spouted on here lately. I for one have no issue with the Aces having AJ as guest despite the fact in my opinion it strengthens them based on recent form, however, it would have been far better for Zagar not to ride yesterday to recover for the final / GP and at the same time stop all this sh*t slinging. Personally (just my opinion) Zagar is taking the p*ss, but the Aces have used the situation to their advantage as any sensible promotion would, just like Poole have with Dak North. The promotion's job is to do the best they can within the given rules, if they are bent but not broken, so be it, let's get on with it race hard and fair and hope for a good safe meeting (with Swindon winning by 15 of course). Too much bleating by fans thinking they have the morale high ground when there isn't one, there is no honour in any professional sport these days hence why I preferred it when the teams were primarily made up of working men who raced part time. Let's hope we get two decent contests to watch tonight and the best teams progress. Edited September 21, 2015 by 65Sarge
