Sheffield Tigers V Peterborough Panthers - 17/9/15 Play Off Q/f Leg 1

Recommended Posts

Congratulations to Anders Thomsen for getting 2nd place in the World U21s. No mention in the Peterborough Telegraph as yet about him getting off his sick bed to ride in the final meeting, but maybe that will come in a later edition.

The only surprise is are that people are still banging about this, like Peterborough have found a new way of testing the rule book. Most people seem to have made their minds up on this anyway without the full facts that the decision makers had. If it was just clever on Panthers part then it's about time, but it wasn't the first time such a situation will occur within speedway and it'll not be the last. It was only sickness and diarrhoea on Thursday. Doubt that it was an issue by the time Saturday came around so not worth a mention.

so just to expand on the thinking behind:

I thought that Bratters told me that he had the pleasure? Oops, I mean that's not what I recall my unnamed source telling me but you're probably right :D

Tbh I'd be quite proud to have got under Patchett's skin, so fair play to PO :P

Ford was one of a group, along with Peter Adams and Gary Patchett.

You need any proof the BSPA were wrong? They backed down over Pawlickis average!

Went to this meeting last week and thought the meet was over after heat 3 with the score at 15-3 but fair play to Peterborough for fighting back.

Ben Barker looked immaculate, personally did not think he would be back riding this season after the terrible crash in the British Final.

Its been five or six years since i have been to Sheffield and the facilites are even better now, all in all a good evening out, the bench mark for all clubs if finances allowed.

Must be a lot to do in Peterborough if your all still giddy about this meeting

Think that you need to clarify that post, it makes as much sense as "Wir wollen ein Auto mieten", which we all now know is volunteering to go out to get some meat.
