Cue Ball
Just had this really weird dream where sheffield were 12 up after 3 heats and then lost... Fair play to Peterbarker on a deserved win, we had too many passengers. At the beginning of the meeting I commented that I was surprised by Barker's average and that he was a much better rider than it suggested, unfortunately I was right! Lukas
You get a 28 day ban if he does itIf who does what? Sounds like sour grapes and sounds like Sheffield is run by a bunch of t****. Edited September 17, 2015 by Lukas

Panthers89
Even a 28 day ban wouldn't save Sheffield, also mean would still be around for semi final at this rate!

scoobydoo
Comeback with five riders as Redcars ROTY nominee scored just one point in ht2 again Edited September 17, 2015 by scoobydoo
LagutaRacingFan
Comeback with five riders as Redcars ROTY nominee scored naught again Rafa brings so much more than points to the team, he is always providing good banter in the pits. He also scored 1 point for your information and on another day, could have scored more.

lewy
Karma! A sheffield rider was happy to guest for scunny against plymouth when they had a dodgy sicknote for pijper, good on the panthers and ben barker !
Lukas
Even if they criminaly took Andersen's points off we would still only be 6 down..this whole episode really has made Sheffield look desperate and embarrassing.
champs99
The are questioning the illness of Thomsen and guest appearance of Anderson So if Sheffield are implying Thomsen was nt ill, he must have been witholding his services, and Panthers can use a facility for that ie Anderson.
spin king
Congratulations to the Panthers, did a job on us and fair play. Some from my group of Sheffield fans reckoned the track was set up to suit, but to be fair I don't think it was entirely that to blame, I think overall in the meeting we did not perform to the best of our ability and Peterborough did. There was apparently and argument between the two Promotions before the start of the meeting, but I suppose that is to be expected. Have my own views on Mr Rathbone and his Promotional team but will keep them to myself. As for Sheffield the fact that we even made the Play Offs this season was an achievement after all that has gone off, with injuries and deportation's, and we will be back bigger and stronger next season mark my words. Good Luck to Peterborough in the next round.
yorkshiretyke
Got to say well done Peterborough they wanted it more and it showed massively!! I love Garrity think he has been awesome for us this year but we needed a Steady, Kurtz, Cook tonight. Barker was fired up and we needed that No.1 to stop him!! Hats off to him though never missed a gate and was gone by 2nd bend.. I had a feeling this new look Sheffield side wasn't strong enough!! Should have kept the Guest at No1 which probably would have been Danny King and Josh @ reserve.. Disappointed yes but onwards and upwards. Unlikely to progress any further this year but.... who knows!! If not enjoyed this year even though the ridiculous injuries we've had. Hope to see Steady back and good as ever next season. He is without doubt the master of Owlerton.

Crump99
Unlikely to progress any further this year but.... who knows!! It's only half time and at the EoES we turn into the worst gaters you've ever seen. We have also lost 4 home league matches. If we think the job is done then Sheffield are perfectly capable of turning us over. Edited September 17, 2015 by Crump99
Lukas
After reading some posts from some Sheffield guys that makes me realise you can't tar everyone with the same brush I would echoe what Crump says..it ain't over..we ain't great at home. Blackadder
So if Sheffield are implying Thomsen was nt ill, he must have been witholding his services, and Panthers can use a facility for that ie Anderson. If the Sicknote was obtained under false pretences, then a Facility would not be permitted. The reason for the discussion between officials before the meeting was because Peterborough had not thought to inform the Referee or the MC earlier in the day of the programme change. Sheffield wanted to lodge a protest, but were advised they couldn't go against a Doctor's Sicknote. Peterborough threatened to withdraw for some reason, but were threatened with a fine if they did so, so didn't. When Ty Proctor was deported, the UKVI insisted on seeing a copy of his departure documentation, so it should be reasonably easy for the SCB to request copies of Mr Thomsen's original travel details, the cancellation documents and his revised details, if they so choose. Anyway, congratulations to Ben Barker for an immaculate 6 ride maximum, and to the Cheetahs on getting a result.
