TheScotsman
so have Peterborough been stopped from using a guest? Rohan definitely said he was guesting at Sheffield Maybe he's having to drive the van out to Croatia/Czech Republic or wherever the Sheffield 3 are due at the weekend?!!
Crump99
Has to be Basil the Promoter says so. I assume that's an attempt at humour and that you mean Ged Rathbone? He said that he was under the impression, not that he was 100% sure. It's a good early learning curve though: negotiate early and get everything confirmed in writing and signed off. Assumptions and verbals are worth diddly squat if the brown stuff hits.
EIS002
Maybe The supremo wanted the away fixture first?? Who knows.
Blackadder
You can't afford to dither about arranging fixtures at this time of year. To Sheffield's credit, they got their home match sorted without delay. There was nothing stopping Peterborough doing the same.
LagutaRacingFan
All this will be futile when Sheffields play off hopes are in tatters after tomorrow. I want to see our own riders riding, other clubs may use guests to their advantage but we are a club of principle.
Falcon Hammer
Grow up! the point being Panthers should have been able to host the home leg first if they so required...! Which is a fair enough point surely? Peterborough wanted Sheffield to host their leg next week, it would still be the first leg!

I think a fair few events are held at the Peterborough Arena so I imagine they may well have more of a headache than some promotions at sorting fixtures out! It was on the To Do list but we were finding difficult to find the time for a courtesy call to the opposition. We didn't realise that it isn't necessary to consult the opposition. Crump99
Now you really are stoking the fire aren't you? Not really. It's a valid point isn't it, if it's true it was a unilateral decision as has been reported. I'll argue my corner until there is a decent explanation out there, which is even more surprising as I'm not bothered either way Edited September 16, 2015 by Crump99
spin king
Well this time tomorrow we should have some idea as which team is going to progress through to the next round. For those thousand's of Panthers who won't be able to make the match due the short notice of the arrangement of the meeting, why not follow the meeting via Speedway Updates site. Your Texter for the night will be Squall. Your updater will be Unicorn.
Panthers89
Won't be thousands, be millions But in all seriousness would of been nice a bit of notice

Crump99
Always two sides to every story. That's very true, and with everyone saying their piece in this case, there remains more questions than answers as per usual. Just imagine if there was transparency and clarity in such circumstances though, the BSF would turn into Facebook
