Calling All Losers - Who Do You Want To Win?

Recommended Posts

Are you a Witch,Comet,Diamond,Bear,Rocket,Bandit or Scorpion?

Welcome to the losers club and no play offs to look forward to. But who do you want to win the PL and why?

As much as it chokes me to say it its Edinburgh for me. Not only did they finish top but did so with an unchanged side.

A close second would be Plymouth for the 'Roy of the Rovers' factor they bring with their first venture towards the big prize.

As for the others - no thanks.

Glasgow with the Howe move where a rule that shouldve been implemented but wasnt.

Somerset for the discarding of Lanham after he had done all that coukd be asked and more to paper over their crack caused by yet another

average wrangle.

Sheffield less so but the Proctor situation was a bit farcical and using guests at 1 all year detracts for me.

Peterborough - what can I say about my friends from down the road? Desparately manipulating every situation to sqeeze out any advantage however crass it looks!

So it c'mon the Monarchs for me! What about the rest of you losers??

They way Glasgow are carrying on delaying until our Aussies and Erik go out to Aus we aren't going to have a team.

Tough. The season has aways ended on the last day in October.

Might be too difficult for the mob to understand that tough & titty spring to mind.

It wouldn't be if a certain team stopped delaying their fixtures

Do they aye.

I think if we had a load of rain offs or lots of problems finishing the fixtures then edinburgh would have to lump it as that is the way it goes and everyone misses riders for injuries, double ups, gp qualifiers, etc. throughout the season

If it is being deliberately manipulated to try to ensure it happens when we have 5 weeks to get 3 fixtures in is quite frankly pathetic. Almost as pathetic as Gazc's replies to all of the comments, aye!

Just out off curiosity when is the Aus GP as i am pretty sure that the Edinburgh Moanarch's would have known that there was a pretty good chance that the play off's would be achievable and now there in the KO Cup final i am sure Somerset will be getting the conspiracy theory's soon also.

How Ironic would it be if the Rebels play hard ball with dates after all it wouldn't be there fault 3 Edinburgh riders decided not to see the full season out now would it.

Not that I'm putting any ideas into there head heaven forbid.

Hopefully Glasgow pump Edinburgh on the 25th of December and Wolbert riders to his average…6, 8, no 6 wait it’s 8…or he could miss the meeting with Turkey poisoning

Sympathy with clubs over moral high ground re win at all cost mentality….I will pass.

Not the Xmas present they would be hoping for i guess :D .

Did Glasgow not get slated 2or3 years ago for letting their Aussies go home before the end of October rather than keep them here to ride in the second leg of the Scottish? Now who was that against again?? I seem to remember the comments in the Star and the other teams match programme about how much of a disgrace it was as the season ended at the end of October and actually had sympathy with their stance then. Methinks double standards is a slight understatement.....

Edinburgh riders are not "going home", they're riding in a GP. It's a little different TBF.
