Glasgow V Plymouth Play Off Qf

I'm gonna predict Plymouth 54 - 36 Glasgow for the first leg.

Well if it is anywhere near that they better not give us the we can do this you are the eighth man spiel this week didn't work then and it certainly wouldn't work if that is the first leg score.

So Doolan and Hansen are our guests for the weekend following Fisher deciding it was now too cold in the UK or something like that.

Unfortunately due to the late time in the season and also because of Fisher's low average (for a number one) we are somewhat limited to the guests out there. Doolan is run of the mill but Hansen did at least bag 10 at Ashfield for Worky earlier in the season so hopefully a decent choice.

Fisher won't be a huge miss at home but away he'll be a big miss and will undoubtedly cost us the tie over the two legs unless the rest of the team improve their performance from the last visit to Glasgow.

Very sad end to a belter of a campaign.

Devils by six at home, Tigers by 12 up north, hopefully it's t'other way round :)

I've got a bit of sympathy for Fisher who would have had to stay here for over 3 weeks to his next fixture when he wasn't earning. If the toothless BSPA had set deadlines for meetings to be completed by and week beginning dates for the semi's and final everyone would be able to plan that much better. I read on Jack Holder's twitter page a fortnight ago him complaining that he had to wait around another few weeks for this semi final rather than head home. The delay has taken the sting out of Plymouth's recent momentum when they made it into the top 6 and possibly cost them further progress.

These guys know the season officially end at the end of October ,so no excuses IMO.

Riders may know the season runs to end of October, however they dont expect a 3 week hole while teams who are running meaningless local derbies to boost their financies before running the 'official' league matches.

They are expected to stay till the end of season when signed surely whatever the situation. If Plymouth HADNT finished in the top six you can bet your bottom dollar that Fisher would have been staying around and touting for guest Bookings.

Have put ourselves in the driving seat after tonight but I have witnessed us shooting ourselves in the foot so many times in the past that we must be professional on Sunday and take no unnecessary risks.

I am sure Stewart will make sure that there is no complacency and hopefully finish the job.

Try looking in the Plymouth section, this thread is for Sunday's meeting

The Plymouth v Glasgow thread has mysteriously disappeared hence why people are posting in here.

Result tonight Plymouth 46 - Glasgow 44. well done lads!

Hopefully we should make it through but anything can happen in speedway. who thought Somerset would be able to defend a 8 point lead at Edinburgh tonight especially when their lead had been wiped out by heat 2.

Me.

Good result for Glasgow. Far from over. Lawson apparently poor again, but Summers and Morris looking like the two we rely on

Well done James Sarjent, #Gateking :t::lol:

Rich will be fine small dip in form but i am sure he will bounce back on Sunday.

We've not been able to rely on Nick recently. Well done tonight, hope the track isn't as slick on Sunday as last week.
