Tsunami
I accept it's frustrating but take the positives. You're not dead and buried and you're in with a good chance of some silver wear! 12 months ago it looked like you'd have nothing. I'm glad I get the opportunity for Mick Horton to mug me of an extra £2 on Friday for the EL play-offs! And I hope he can mug me of few more ££ in 2 weeks I want you to take a "lie detector test"
GS550
Aw, c'mon...... Seems you haven't been? Easily 1,200 minimum this season, although half of them kids right enough.
george.m
now our poorest crowd of the season has been around 1200, If only.
SharpenRake
George is right. I started wondering about the crowds when a video appeared on the club website saying we needed 1200 just to break even and the facennas said we needed more people on a regular basis. so one night I sat down and counted the crowd for 2 of our meetings based on the many photos that appear on web sites etc and on a night I thought we'd had a good crowd I counted 980 people, a night when I thought it was no bad 760 people. I know its not 100percent accurate but its clear to me we're not averaging 1200+ as suggested by MD. we've lost a lot of space in the front terracing with the need for a clear passageway and a lot of the 1st bend terracing has been lost with the erection of the Tigers Den. its a cup final for goodness sake against our biggest rivals who've also put their prices up; at least we have decent facilities! Mr Blobby
plenty of free tickets still getting handed out in the west.
damosuzuki
Can't see it being 1200 minimum, but it's probably somewhere in between. I love what the Facennas have done, but I'm a bit worried if we need 1200 Week in week out just to break even! Speedway is expensive unfortunately but not in comparison to other sports. Brahead Clan league - £15-£19 Partick Thistle League £20+ Glasgow Warriors CRIKEY https://www.eticketing.co.uk/scottishrugby/details/event.aspx?itemref=4453

damosuzuki
I believe the Facenna's own the stadium now and this was part of the buyout deal. Ashfield FC are a junior team though - I don't think the comparison is worthwhile (but I've no idea how much they charge tbh). Will try to get along this year though. I really do believe this is very much a community minded facility and the football is part of that.
skippy
So for instance, I have a team with 3 broken legs, wont be back till December, shall we ride then? Has to be a limit. theres a difference in doubling up and being injured though Because these were the reserved dates since the start of the season and should have been kept free. It's already mid-September, and time to get on with the play-offs. Each year, they just about get completed in the last week of October. One year they won't get finished at all. High time for fixed date play-offs in the PL. How would you feel, Skippy, if Plymouth reached the final and then there wasn't time to hold that final? All the best Rob my opinion is don't have play offs, team at top after all league fixtures are champions in my eyes

Gazc
Does anyone know whether or not Kauko will be back for this match or, indeed, the LC Final ? He was practicing in Finland today as announced last week no word if he did or not but taking this into account he must be nearing a return.
Pogo1
Kauko returns next weekend I believe, will practise for a couple of days back home before heading to Scotland where he will practice at Glasgow too.

Plenty Pubs nearby and you can be in Glasgow City Centre in 10-15 mins for about £10 - £12 in a taxi I stay local and travel up to Ashfield PM me and i can organise transport for you up to the stadium i would have space for 3 also. Will give you a list off friendly pubs to visit as well.

The one at Charing Cross is usually a bit cheaper than the rest . We all meet in the Horseshoe Bar before the speedway ( well from about half 12 ) on a Sunday . PM me if you want my mobile number and we can arrange the social side of the weekend
