Who Should Get The Gp Wild-card Spots For 2016?

Kildemand might yet qualify in the top eight, as might MJJ

I was hoping for better thibngs from MJJ, as I am sure he was. He shines so bright at times, then flat.

If both dont make the top 8 it would be hard for both to get wild cards, that would make 4 Danes (with NP and NKI).

Hampel yes, but if Janowski gets in the top 8 this year that may make it difficult for Hampel

Lindback yes (so long as his form keeps up)

Emil doesnt want to, and I cant see G Laguta being asked

Could do with a bit of maturity cause the youngsters like Zmarzlik, Pawliski and even Janowski may shine from time to time but they may well find a full season of GPs is a bit tough. A second (experienced) Swede maybe.

2 #45 Greg Hancock

3 #3 Nicki Pedersen

4 #55 Matej Zagar

5 #88 Niels-Kristian Iversen

6 #23 Chris Holder

7#69 Jason Doyle

8 #71 Maciej Janowski

If we assume the top 8 are as it stands now, and we already know Harris Pawlicki and Zmarslik make it up to 11, that leaves from this years

9 #52 Michael Jepsen Jensen

10 #19 Peter Kildemand

11 #100 Andreas Jonsson

12 #75 Troy Batchelor

13 #37 Chris Harris

14 #30 Tomas H. Jonasson

15 #33 Jaroslaw Hampel

16 #507 Krzysztof Kasprzak

I think you have to give Lindback one for winning the Swedish title, I think Kildermand deserves one for the way he has performed in this years series.

that would mean 2 places left, It would be great if Emil said yes, but we know he probably won't, personally I would not give it to AJ, just because there is only 1 Swede in the series, you can bet your life they wouldn't have given a Brit a space had Harris not got through the qualifier, I like AJ, but he is boring in the GPs, never a real threat, and should have qualified like Harris had to if he wants to remain, I would give 1 to Hampel, it may mean there are a lot of poles in the series, but they are the best and that leaves 1 place

I would like to see the best riders riding, if Laguta and Saifutdinov both say no, then I would go for either Dudek, Vaculik , Jepsen Jensen or even Mikkelsen, but please no AJ or THJ just to make the quotas up

On what we have seen this year Kildamand definitely deserves to be in the Gp's next year.Unfortunately although he qualified by rights Harris is taking up a spot just making up the numbers again but that's seems to happen with a lot of riders at the lower end of the scorers.think the series needs a revamp regarding the bottom end of the qualifiers.Imo

I thought Sayfutdinov had already said no, out the others I would go martin vaculik.

I would like to full-time field to be just 14 riders with two wild-card riders per event

and not necessarily from the same country where the GP is held.

There are really only 10 top riders each year who battle for 8 places, with at least 4/5 who just make up the numbers.

Also having 2 x wild cards would allow SGP to look at future full-time wild card riders and gives more riders GP experience

Zmarzlik has qualified, so he doesn't need "a chance"?

I'm glad about that. Thank you.

The GPs are not my strongpoint - I watch them, that is all. I don't follow them in any way at all.

The Speedway GP has always been run on quotas. While there are 2 GP's in Sweden there will always be 2 Swedes in the field, its always been that way. The 1st 2 will be Lindback and A N other probably AJ as there is no outstanding young Swede .

Would like Lindback,Kildermand,Sayfitudinov,G.Laguta

Think it will be Lindback,Jonsson,Kildermand,Batchelor

Hampel should be a certainty I feel,

Kildemand if he doesn't automatically qualify,

Lindbaeck quite likely,

Sayfutdinov should be an automatic pick but seems unlikely,

Jonsson

Depends if they want 4 Poles in ? Why do you think T.H.Jonnason is in the GP,no other reason than being Swedish with 2 GP's in Sweden.Darcy I feel was set for a wild card before his terrible accident. With a 3 year deal in Melbourne BSI might want 2 Aussies in the main draw.

Jason Doyle

Chris Holder

I make that two

don't matter how good the others are....Sweden will get priority

That's part of the reason I am not keen on the GP System as it is at present.

You also have to add in to the equation who BSI would like of course.

You are against the GP because some riders are selected for commercial reasons. Good job you were not watching speedway between 1950 and 1994, jeez the system around back then would have destroyed your interest compketely!!!!!!!!!!
