Peterborough Panthers 2016

Recommended Posts

Well we are not in the Elite league anymore and we have no Frosty to bankroll us . The good thing is although we have gone down a division we now have a leader in Ged Rathbone who cares about his task and also is able to mix with supporters and doing a fine job keeping the club running. I'd rather be how we are now with someone who we can put our faith and trust in than see Frosty ever make a return.

Each to their own and it also meets the approval of the northern oracle (of, I have a lot of respect for Rick but speedway was just not for him fame) so a double negative :)

Trouble is if Rick Frost decided he wants it back Ged may have to walk away, or if he says he wants only to sell it on has Ged got the money to buy it ,so his association with Peterborough isnt in his hands but theres no doubting hes done a good job so far in the PL.

I don't see any prospective buyers coming in now or in the future ,if that was the case Frost would already sold it. It looks to me that Frost will remain a landlord for the foreseeable future unless he decides to sell at a cut price rate and then maybe then Ged would be interested with possibly a consortium of supporters making a buy out.

Steady on :o Stilts has got in on the act now though, so we can draw a line under this. He's never one to get controversial so retirement must be turning him into Victor Meldrew. End of topic it is then :D

His Twitter.

5 meetings and its May why did I quit the premier league ffs!

Any premier league side wanna sign me up?

Fair enough.

Sounds like a rider who is very frustrated.

But any club wanting to sign him will have to totally re-jig their team to fit him on a massive starting average of 10.35.

Cant create a decent team with Cookie in, best could manage:

Cook 10.35

Grondal 5.35

Porsing 6.58

Anders 6.62

NBJ 7.54

Greenwood 3.00

Perry 3.00

No chance in Ully going, but only way in getting Cook in, is getting rid of Ully.

1. Cook - 10.35

2. 3.90

3. Jakobsen - 7.54

4. Porsing - 6.58

5. Ulrich - 8.13

6. Perry - 3.00

7. Greenwood - 3.00

I think this side would do pretty well; Greenwood is capable of picking up points at home and Perry is a class act, he's actually averaging 6 this year!

As for the final spot at 2, Alex Edberg is on a 3.70 and he has potential to improve on that IMO riding at reserve.
