dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
What's the difference between say Cook & King having BEL averages over 6 being allowed to ride BPL and say Schlein and Watt having BEL averages of over 6 not being allowed to do so?as in the post above they have been in the PL all that time so have established average. Personally I would only allow doubling up for British riders anyway. The PL should not be a place for foreign EL heat leaders. Seeing world class riders in the premier league... btw does anyone know if there is set dates for the play offs..if so when?youve shot down your own arguement there - the PL should not be a place for 'world class riders' That sort of cost structure is part of the problem.
Lukas
Well let's be honest fuel tap there ain't a lot of difference between elite and premier now is there?
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Well let's be honest fuel tap there ain't a lot of difference between elite and premier now is there?thats the whole point - there should be!! EL heat leaders should not be in the PL (possible exception would be to allow any Brit to d/u but even that open to debate) Ideally IMO PL no1 should be about EL 2nd string standard and other heat leaders higher EL reserve standard. This would mean the jump from NL to PL eould be more manageable and hopefully produce a virtuous circle of Brit talent up the ladder. NO foreign rider should EVER be at PL reserve IMO.
Panthers89
Completely agree with the above...... But sadly it's what the sport has become at top level, a watered down league which affects the leagues below. End of the day, no rules are in place to stop these signings which there should be. Riders like Kenneth Bjerre should be no where the premier league.
Noodles
Let's impose penalties on clubs that double the car parking charge for big events and charge £4.40 for a pint of beerLet's blame the club for the things that have nothing to do with them and are charged direct by their landlords.
Mad Max
Oh... wondered when you would turn up with your usual positive comments...to all the haters out there why don't you suck it up and watch us challenge for the title!.. it's jealousy and as I've said Panthers fans are happy and it's our club so who cares about the rest...in fact I'm glad it's annoyed everyone. The fact that everyone is talking about it..what does that tell you?I think its called drama and excitement..get some in your lives all you losers out there that are always moaning. Top marks for honesty - pity your management changes when it suits them from being the club to provide slots for young Brits to being pot hunters and lets drop any brits to get some quality foreigners in! PS are you my dyslexic friend Klaus??
Flappy
All of the new signings fit within the club's pay structure as stated by Ged Rathbone himself on the official Facebook page. He states like he always has if the club can't pay it's way it will close as simple as that. He's simply a genuine winner who values his customers, pity there aren't more like him around.

A very rare breed a promoter looking after his supporters and his business and with 3 more possible home fixtures in the play offs if we do manage to qualify which will be very good financially for the club makes good business sense to me!

Crump99
Lets blame the club when beer prices had nothing to do with them . Lets not give an extra pound to a worthy cause called the Ben Fund. Lets move the fours to Dry House and all watch boring racing cramped in shoulder to shoulder and park our car miles away . The car park charge was brought in for the club's Ben Fund contribution if my memory serves me right, that's before it got confused with general running costs.
tellboy
Everything Peterborough have done is within the rules so i don't see any problems with anything they have done. But i feel they need to make the play offs now. But as someone mentioned to me today, what happens if Vetlanda is called off on Saturday and the re-staging is on Sunday which i'm sure it is.Bjerre would be missing the double header and Peterborough wouldn't be allowed a facility for him. That could be a serious blow to their play-off aspirations. I'm hoping Peterborough make the play-offs as it will give me a meeting or two more to watch,as my teams season has nearly come to an end already
