scoobydoo
If the play offs come Peterboroughs way they would in effect have the weakest team based on averages as they would have the only team built to the limit whereas all the other teams averages would be over the team building limit. On paper yes but Anders isn't a 6.62 rider and neither is Bjerre 8.22.
scoobydoo
We have had that for most off the season mostly from the East off Glasgow. It almost seems like if your team are willing to invest in the sport then we are spending above our means not that they have a clue what we are spending they just like to blow there trumpet Me personally think Peterborough have done the correct thing. Peterborough been there with the cheque book speedway jibes, Frost brought the assets and then disappeared south to Poole with most of them .
Norfolk Bear
I wish Ged was promoting at his home track , now we really do have begging bowls !!
New era Panthers
Has Ged Rathbone got the begging bowl out to the Panthers fans. Monarchs Promotions usual practice. We are not Edinburgh but I'm sure if Ged wanted some financial assistance most fans would quite happily be willing to dip into there pockets because we have a fantastic promoter who is hands on and open with supporters with a passion for success . Sorry Norfolk Bear you can't have him back at Redcar , Havelock spurned that chance.
Baldyman
Well I'm not a panthers fans, but I think it's great what's going on.
New era Panthers
I can tell you Porsing wouldn't come back to Peterborough even if offered what he gets in Poland. That's best rumour I've heard all week, we had good laugh reading that. I can tell you if he feels like that then we wouldn't want him back anyway , so we'll cross him off our list for next season , oh I forgot he wasn't on the list anyway . dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Well I'm not a panthers fans, but I think it's great what's going on.its fair to say that my posts on Pboro threads are not always the most highbrow of efforts (hehe) and sometimes i am just on a wind up (hands up shoot me) but i have to seriously disagree on this one.Whilst proactive team changes are to be applauded i think the extent of the Pboro merrygoround this year has been too excessive and further risks the stability of the sport in an already fragile position. Such actions only force an unhealthy split between those teams that can afford to do little to compete and those that feel they have to attempt to keep up may well be pushed close or past a safe limit. Even the cash cow that is F1 limits changes (Lewis Hamilton grid penalty this weekend for exceeding engine number) Perhaps Speedway should consider such penalties should teams make an excesive number of changes (injuries aside)
Phil The Ace
Fair play ged. He's a winner quite obviously. Nowt wrong with that. What is money this day and age anyway. It grows on trees don't it???
LagutaRacingFan
The problem with speedway is that It's like communism; everybody wants everybody to be dragged down to their level. Matt Ford and Ged Rathborne are the pioneers of our sport. Edited August 27, 2016 by Morrissey Fan
RebelDan
What a farce. One rider from the original 1 to 7 and Bjerre/Anderson are only riding because Poland and Sweden are finished. Feel for the lads released who are committed to British Speedway
Noodles
Richard Hall doesn't seem very happy on Twitter. Has the BSPA blocked yet another Panthers move?
romans lovechild
superb bit of team changing by the panthers, just in time for the play offs, well done, but spare a thought for tom perry, raised his average from 3.00 to 4.26 and loses his place, no justice there for a young brit.
LagutaRacingFan
Richard Hall doesn't seem very happy on Twitter. Has the BSPA blocked yet another Panthers move? BSPA press release states: "Subject to BSPA approval both riders will make their debuts next Sunday (September 4) when Panthers take on Rye House and Workington in a crucial double-header at the East of England Showground". Shadders
I just hope we can get into the play-offs and win the league for Ged. It would be amazing If we could do it against the big spenders Glasgow and Somerset and It would be a win for speedway in general. You have no chance with that bottom 3 Edited August 27, 2016 by Shads
Bagpuss
Fantastic top four, dreadful bottom three. Halsey has never achieved anything outside of his comfort zone at Mouldyhole and don't see this being any different. Can see this team being a nuisance should they get to the play Offs but shouldn't beat one of the top four sides over two legs.
