There is never a good way of letting riders go but at least the fans were able to show their appreciation rather than just reading it on the website. No idea how emil and Tom really feel about the way it was done but emil especially handled it really well and credit to him for speaking so well when interviewed shortly after. Well done on the Noodles / Poodles thing. Haven't stopped laughing yet......
maneacat
With the precedent being set (which will not last long IMO and was more due to the need to put out the fire of another hammering from Newcastle) then Morris and NBJ should be given the same courtesy tomorrow. TOMORROW? Or Monday even? Yes I agree.
Lukas
To be fair the guys who have been let go would have only missed 3 more matches as we wouldn't have made the play offs with that side so all the glass half empty lot I really don't know what your moaning about..how about congratulating the guy for showing ambition, keeping it interesting and showing tact as it was actually a nice moment last night.. abit like Joe Hart's city moment on Tuesday. Panthers89
Well I'm over the moon with the changes and will back Ged all the way, only has the interest of the club at heart, look at other teams with nothing to play for, they wouldn't make changes. So big respect for this.

So big respect for this. I just hope we can get into the play-offs and win the league for Ged. It would be amazing If we could do it against the big spenders Glasgow and Somerset and It would be a win for speedway in general. Blackadder
Cook, Ostergaard, Thomsen and Bjerre must have signed on the cheap then.
Mr Blobby
Wouldn't want to be paying wage bill anyway. A team that's made that many changes deserves to win nothing IMO.

So what is Mr Rathbone supposed to do?just go through the motions and see the crowd and his business dwindle down to nothing? I think he should be applauded for his and the Panthers ambition and everything is within the rules and its fair to say our remaining home matches will be the biggest crowds of the season

Your opinion means nothing to Panthers fans . At least we have tried to do something to enhance our chances in the playoffs with a track where you get a good view anywhere in the stadium . As you've had to make little changes to your side perhaps your management should spend some money improving viewing facilities .
Mr Blobby
Touchy bunch. Sour grapes and jealousy..the panthers fans are happy so who gives a rubbish what the rest of you think! Nothing to do with it just don't want to see a club chuck money at riders in desperation for success to see them suffer financially after. Ged ain't stupid, can obviously afford them for a handful of meetings.

I would imagine the increased crowds (The Thomsen and Bjerre effect) and securing a play off place is good financial business... Gazc
Sour grapes and jealousy..the panthers fans are happy so who gives a rubbish what the rest of you think! We have had that for most off the season mostly from the East off Glasgow. It almost seems like if your team are willing to invest in the sport then we are spending above our means not that they have a clue what we are spending they just like to blow there trumpet Me personally think Peterborough have done the correct thing.
