New era Panthers
Enjoy it while it lasts as once the Aussie and Danish wells run dry (Aussies now find it increasingly harder to come to the UK)the Premier will have to make the choice of reducing the standards to bring National league riders up. It's currently too strong for the majority to transcend between the leagues. When that time comes we will accept the change just like the rest of the premier league teams , no problems on that score
Mad Max
Berwick - 1 Brit Edinburgh - 2 Brits Glasgow - 3 Brits Ippo - 4 Brits Newcastle - 4 Brits Panthers - 3 Brits Plymouth - 3 Brits Redcar - 2 Brits Rye - 4 Brits Scunny - 3 Brits Sheffield - 5 Brits Somerset - 2 Brits Worky - 2 Brits So we have more British riders than 5 other teams, we still have our number 7 British rider from the start of the season but he has improved so much has gone into the 1-5. Would you rather we got rid of Perry and signed a 5.00 foreigner? Or shall we stick with Tom as he's been brilliant so far and wait for his injuries to heal? Honestly, we have done what every smart promotor would of done, these moves are the different between a normal promotor and a good promotor, Ged wants to win things, your a rubbishe one if you think mid table is fine forever and ever. What makes you think I'm a promoter?? Just shear jealousy , nasty comments from a supposed supporter off a team that keep bleating because teams like Redcar wont give them a rearrangement date that suits ALL there double uppers. No jealousy at all, I agree it was the smart thing to do, however just be open and stop bleating on one hand that you can't make a change when it is benefitting Brits and then do the opposite a few weeks later Envy is a terrible thing No envy - ditto above comments

No Brits have been sacked as young Stokes was only given a four meeting deal. Tom Perry is Panthers obligatory Brit, and they are free to fill the other places as they see fit...

New era Panthers
So Peterborough are gearing up to ride with their new 1-7 this week, seems like only yesterday they were whining about BSPA not allowing their new team, when they were doing British speedway this big favour and getting two British riders into the league and giving a young lad his chance for a guaranteed 4 meetings. Now they have shown their true colours and stuck two fingers at any notion of being the club who was looking at promoting young British riders - obviously just a ploy to get their own way, next thing is they will threatened to pull out of league - oh tried that aswell !! Tom Stokes was on a 4 match contract within a time scale , in that time he only rode in 1 meeting, another got cancelled late for showground unavailability, even though Ged Rathbone was prepared to start the meeting at 8 pm instead of 5 pm but showground management advised against it on the grounds of health and safety, he missed the other 2 meetings because he went down with illness , oh and I forgot to mention we got a top British rider back riding in the Premier league in Craig Cook , so I don't see your point really as Tom was only getting 4 meetings Edited June 7, 2016 by New era Panthers

Listen up dimwit..it was common knowledge that Stokes is our no8 and was only in for 4 matches until the new averages were out. We have a 3 point Brit who has rode is socks off and is now in the main body(because BSPA make it up as they go along), we have also 2 other Brits..so what's your problem?...jealousy and sour grapes I suspect. Oh obviously rattled your cage, shame your level is resort to name calling, but I'll get over it. It may have been common knowledge (and a minimum of 4 matches - remind me how many he had and you may include rain offs etc.) But it was all part the tirade spouted when changes were denied and Panthers were backing Brits along with toys out of the pram threats to pull out of league. Please advise what would I be jealous and have sour grapes over - no skin off my nose how teams are made up, I'm making a statement about integrity of putting a statement out and then backtracking - if you can't see that maybe its not me that is a dimwit No, if I mean you are i'd of said you're, as I said your it means in general. LagutaRacingFan
The good thing for Tom is that he won't be under much pressure as he'll be riding next to Craig Cook. Edited June 26, 2016 by Morrissey Fan
