Crump99
who is this weeks must have rider for peterborough then ? We're sorted at the moment but it looks like Rathbone will not fanny about if action is needed. I'd be more worried about your lot in 10 days time if I was you. Put rulebook in shredder and start from scratch They did that but when they looked at what came out it still made as much sense as before it went in. Arson fire
How was perry eligible as a anyway given he had a PL average with Somerset from 2012-13??... thought it had to be a NL rider with no prem league average to be a #7??
TheScotsman
And a near 4 point EL average in 2014.

So perks is screwed greenwood is screwed now, Carr is screwed, Morley also and throw in Williamson who all have premier league averages? Also Payne? So half the league broke the rules? We were always fortunate to get one of the best riders and it's worked out, we've gained 2 points on the league without doubt.

Mr Blobby
#7s only had to be eligible to ride in the NL. If that's the case why wasn't Rob Branford or Max Clegg aloud to ride at number 7.

Arson fire
On reflection that means Ellis, Armstrong etc would be eligable if it was just NL criteria... That cant be right??..... Shirley??
jim3751
I'm thinking of setting up a petition regarding Hansen to Peterborough; would many people be in favour of signing it? The BSPA need to do the honourable thing by releasing Kenneth Hansen from his contract with the Workington Comets. When he has guest for the Peterborough Panthers, Hansen has always had a smile on his face and he has a natural bond and connection with the supporters. In an era where riders and fans are often disconnected; Hansen is a rare breed and his relationship with the Panthers is more than passion, it’s more than mutual respect, it’s actual genuine love and the BSPA shouldn't stand in the way of this. Can't wait for the 14th to see who Comets get as a guest for the guesting Hansen
scaramanga
Barker wanted to ride for a club looking to win the league, not for a club looking to just make the top 6. Hahhahahahhah all clubs would like to win the league some try hard but never succed others expect to win everything when building teams acording to the wage bill and complain when they have poor team form

That was meant to be tongue in cheek. I've seen how he obviously likes Peterboro and the supporters like him but I was hoping to see how he handled the situation when riding for his "own" team - as an academic exercise of course

Mad Max
So Peterborough are gearing up to ride with their new 1-7 this week, seems like only yesterday they were whining about BSPA not allowing their new team, when they were doing British speedway this big favour and getting two British riders into the league and giving a young lad his chance for a guaranteed 4 meetings. Now they have shown their true colours and stuck two fingers at any notion of being the club who was looking at promoting young British riders - obviously just a ploy to get their own way, next thing is they will threatened to pull out of league - oh tried that aswell !!

Berwick - 1 Brit Edinburgh - 2 Brits Glasgow - 3 Brits Ippo - 4 Brits Newcastle - 4 Brits Panthers - 3 Brits Plymouth - 3 Brits Redcar - 2 Brits Rye - 4 Brits Scunny - 3 Brits Sheffield - 5 Brits Somerset - 2 Brits Worky - 2 Brits So we have more British riders than 5 other teams, we still have our number 7 British rider from the start of the season but he has improved so much has gone into the 1-5. Would you rather we got rid of Perry and signed a 5.00 foreigner? Or shall we stick with Tom as he's been brilliant so far and wait for his injuries to heal? Honestly, we have done what every smart promotor would of done, these moves are the different between a normal promotor and a good promotor, Ged wants to win things, your a rubbishe one if you think mid table is fine forever and ever. Just shear jealousy , nasty comments from a supposed supporter off a team that keep bleating because teams like Redcar wont give them a rearrangement date that suits ALL there double uppers. GWC
Enjoy it while it lasts as once the Aussie and Danish wells run dry (Aussies now find it increasingly harder to come to the UK)the Premier will have to make the choice of reducing the standards to bring National league riders up. It's currently too strong for the majority to transcend between the leagues.
