Peterborough Panthers 2016

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking of setting up a petition regarding Hansen to Peterborough; would many people be in favour of signing it?

The BSPA need to do the honourable thing by releasing Kenneth Hansen from his contract with the Workington Comets. When he has guest for the Peterborough Panthers, Hansen has always had a smile on his face and he has a natural bond and connection with the supporters.

In an era where riders and fans are often disconnected; Hansen is a rare breed and his relationship with the Panthers is more than passion, it’s more than mutual respect, it’s actual genuine love and the BSPA shouldn't stand in the way of this.

Lol love that, I'll have a word with Kenneth for you if you keep the comedy gold coming!

Free Hansen from the evils of Cumbria!!!

Given Perry's past form, in particular in the 2014 EL, I think they were every chance he would clean up and gain the average that he has. But fair play for him doing so.

I guess we'll see what happens now. I still think Perry should go back to No 7. He's the only protected rider in that line-up and therefore he has to be at No 7.

All the best

Rob

To be fair I think everyone thought no 7,s stayed at no 7 regardless of average but the BSPA decided otherwise.

From what I have heard Barker will not be returning back to Peterborough while Ged Rathbone has the club as there was some end of season disagreement over a rolling chassis that the club was theirs but the rider thought it was his.

If Glasgow do drop Barker I think it's more likely that he will be riding along the A47 in the elite league. Although I don't think the Tigers will drop him unless they can a proven replacement

We still have our British number 7 in Perry, he now has a 5.00odd average, so we still have our British rider.

People getting on there high horses, we haven't cheated the rules, the rules were there to be cheated as they never thought a rider would get out the reserve berth, ooopsssss it has

Has to be one of the most nonsensical statements ever posted!

So many people have complained over the last few pages over the 'protected 3.00 rider position', but for once the rulebook is explicit and it refers to a 3.00 rider in the initial declaration. It's nothing to do with interpretations and has always read like that!

From a preseason point of view it makes much more sense to give these riders averages and let them move up. Otherwise you could have one taking 7 rides every week and cleaning up, when he should be naturally moving up like he would've done every other year!
