Peterborough Panthers 2016

Recommended Posts

Reserves fiasco in the PL is getting nearly as bad as the averages fiasco in the so called EL.

Looks like another B.S.P.A. nightmare is about to unfold , how are supporters supposed to understand the rules when the governing body , doesn't seem to know what rule to apply . Transparency its as clear as muddy waters

I don't think we are supposed to understand the rules.

That would suggest it was a proper sport.

Just think of speedway in the same way as a circus or a monster truck show.

A kind of entertainment but not a proper sport.

Perry injured tonight at Birmingham. Still down injured...... Come on Tom!

Serious discomfort with shoulder on gas and air and now in ambulance. Our season in tatters as no other rider will average near 6.00 at reserve!

Best wishes to Tom Perry for a speedy recovery and would also would like to wish MPT all the best in his move to Scunthorpe

So if Perry is now out of the no7 protected position, what's stopping Peterborough replacing him like for like? eg a 5 pointer.

nothing so long as Stokes becomes the permanent no7.

Might be why media have no interest in Speedway these days.

INJURY BLOW: Star Panthers’ man faces a spell on the sidelines

Tom Perry has suffered a collar bone injury.

Peterborough Panthers have suffered a cruel injury blow as star man Tom Perry faces a spell on the sidelines.

The ‘T Balfe Construction Panthers’ rider is on the casualty list after a crash riding for National League club, Birmingham last night.

Perry was taken to hospital where tests confirmed he suffered a broken collar-bone and dislocated shoulder. Doctors also have concerns over a swollen knee.

Perry has been a classy performer for Panthers at Premier League level. He was due to move into the main body of the team when they entertain Ipswich at the East of England Showground this Sunday (5pm) after piling up the points at reserve.

Absolutely farcical!!! The whole concept of the rule was to give the yonug Brits their opportunity, they should stay at 7 all season regardless, if you pick a good one who dramatically increases average good luck. Yet another idea only half quarter thought through.

Im quessing Perry moved up because Peterborough redeclared?they used his true average for team building so otherwise he would stop at 7?

If they redeclared with Perry on his true average no room for Cook!

Isn't it amazing how everyone is guessing what is happenning! Surely the fans who are expected to pay to finance the sport should have the very basic rules known

Perhaps the B.S.P.A. should try to explain this situation as they are supposedly going to be more transparent.
