New era Panthers
After the visa kerfuffle they're treating those returning after previously failing to qualify as new starters. Haza
Panthers statement says they are still talking to the BSPA. change of race night is the rumour going round Kings Lynn tonight .
maneacat
Its clicked, BSPA are being assholes, because Cook is in the 2nd Semi Final which is being rode at Glasgow on the Sunday we are facing Rye House, so it means he will be missing 4 meetings, and that is obviously the number that hits the limit for the jokers. Is that definitely going ahead on that date - isn't that the weekend the Eoes host the MCN Festival? It's a 2 day show 14/15 May. change of race night is the rumour going round Kings Lynn tonight . Makes sense. It's been many seasons now since you could regard Friday as our regular race day. With many events at the Eoes throughout the year our meetings have been all over the shop for some time. So pick one that suits the BSPA and doesn't clash with any EL team.

LagutaRacingFan
Why is Friday our race night anyway? Surely it should be Sunday.
bigeddiechek
I hope sense prevails from the BSPA. Peterborough are such an asset to the PL, we need them strong and being treated correctly. Just let Panthers get on and sign two British lads - BSPA!!!!!!
Haza
Tuesday night now if that's all home fixtures or just the one with date clashes I have no idea Edited May 8, 2016 by Haza
peterborough daz
Tuesday nights for the home fixture clashes and Sundays for the rest is fine by me. Ged will need backing on the Tuesday nights attendence wise. Edited May 8, 2016 by dazpanther
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Ive looked at the showground calender for Tuesdays and there could be a problem with other events planned - a morris dancers convention snail racing a striped paint demonstration a lace doily exhibition a Blue Peter bring and buy sale an antique tool display a transgender therapy meeting (although that may be swapped with a date they feel more in tune with) The showground see all these as higher priority than the speedway so there are concerns for me that it work. speed ace
Tuesday nights for the home fixture clashes and Sundays for the rests is fine by me. Ged will need backing on the Tuesday nights attendence wise. As long as they fall within the school holiday period Tuesdays shouldn't be too big a problem, and with the anticipated general increase in crowd figures expected from signing Cook, things should work out fine. All that is required now is for the bspa to approve the declared change of race night and other premier league visitors to agree to this Tuesday night fixture, taking into account rider availability. Best of luck with that one Before someone starts about me being negative, I'm sorry if it comes across that way but this will be looked at from all angles not just what's best for Peterborough. It should be in the best interests of British Speedway!!!!
jenga
Tuesday nights for the home fixture clashes and Sundays for the rest is fine by me. Ged will need backing on the Tuesday nights attendence wise. itsnot just about moving race nights to fit in craig , the fixtures were compiled a while ago and ALL the pl sides would have to agree with it . there will be date when visiting riders cant make it , so looks like a no go.. riders have their calendar sorted now . a change in race day may well provide you with a cracking number 1 , t other teams will need be accommodated in the fixture change . elite and pl and nl ... for now its all fantasy .that will never happed
New era Panthers
Tuesday night now if that's all home fixtures or just the one with date clashes I have no idea Is there anything in the rules that would stop Panthers changing there race night or is there a hidden rule that is yet to be made up by certain members of the FAMOUS FIVE even Enid Blighton couldn't make this up
jenga
see above ..................... off for a few lengths in the tub now .... ruffdiamond
could they not change their race night and sign Cook, then just change it back when they've got him and everyone has forgot ??? sorry if that was plan 'C'
Crump99
change of race night is the rumour going round Kings Lynn tonight . It just needs to say any day with a Y in it. We need to run when the EoES give us dates, If that was 4 different days in a month the so be it. Why is Friday our race night anyway? Surely it should be Sunday. Why? Paul Johnson
fair point and personally I would love to see Adam back in the PL - even with the pussycats!! Could be blocked as well though. No 2015 average and gas now missed more than 1 season so technically has to come in on concerted EL average. Of course the "best interests" you would hope would be invoked in his case too to allow it on his 4.67 but who knows. Also if/when Scunny reintroduce Lygager that will need MC sanction - I wonder if they will get it..... we have ...http://www.scunthorpetelegraph.co.uk/Scunthorpe-Scorpions-look-place-final-piece/story-29242955-detail/story.html
