screm
Delighted to see the BSPA management committee blocking two GB riders from getting team places, no doubt Peterborough will have to bring back into their team Porsing and MPT, though I am sure this will be in the best interests of PL speedway.
CoolPanther
They now plumb depths so low you cannot imagine they could sink lower, then they do,it is shameful.
Countershaftcounter
just who are the people on "the comitee" they should be named so that they can be publicly questioned as to their reasoning, it's just not good enough.
Panthers89
Basically members of other clubs who are probably not happy as we have strengthened
bdjfan
The BSPA need shooting there is no rhyme or reason to there decision at all the bloody rule book that they use needs burning and common sense should be used instead something they clearly do not possess. If we loose a brilliant Promoter as a result of this they only have themselves to Blame Thank You very much. They were obviously scared of the team that he was going to produce. cambpanther
So its either give 2 british riders jobs or have a club possibly close down....BSPA see a club closing is in the best interest of the sport........
peterborough daz
It simply makes no sense. It would have put numbers on the gate as Cook at PL is a draw. Edited May 6, 2016 by dazpanther
screm
Dont be surprised if we see Cook signed up by another PL team.
Pirates Of Poole
The BSPA are a complete joke! No logical reason for blocking this apart from the unamed panel wanting Cook in their team maybe. I'm sure rule 6.7.896.34.3.7777.7885.444.5.5532 will be used as to why it has been blocked which states use this code to make us look like a bunch of clowns!!

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Whilst it is a shocking disgrace of a decision can I just point out that many reactions are somewhat hypocritical to say it denying 2 Brits jobs. To a man (or woman) you were all smugly predicting Stokes super duper replacement after 4 matches. No such concerns about putting a Brit out of a job then........
LagutaRacingFan
idiot the BSPA and I hope their headquarters is over-run by migrants. If the appeal isn't approved; I wouldn't hold it against Ged to pull the plug. Edited May 6, 2016 by Morrissey Fan

I was hoping for Ellis, so Brit for Brit. Waiting for a statement from the BSPA but we will be waiting a long time
damosuzuki
I'd like to hear the full details of how this happened. At the end of the day, our most promising British rider has been blocked from riding for a British team, not because it breaks the rules but because someone doesn't fancy it - the BSPA decision is a disgrace. And that's speaking as a supporter of another team who would have had to face up to the threat Cook posed to title ambitions. What a joke.

Noodles
I hope Ged considers his sponsorship of the british youngsters. What's the point of it all if British riders get blocked from joining British teams? Edited May 6, 2016 by Noodles
