Baldyman
Seems he prefers the more flat out style track. Lukas how fast do you think the average speed is at Peterborough? I know you have said fast but how fast on average?
Panthers70
Seems he prefers the more flat out style track. Lukas how fast do you think the average speed is at Peterborough? I know you have said fast but how fast on average? Krzysztof Kasprzak averaged 51.48 mph when he set the track record in 2010 - not bad from a standing start ! IIRC a few years ago they used a speed-gun to clock riders doing over 60 mph in the home straight
Baldyman
He was probably averaging faster than that since the average is taken from the track length 1 metre from inside. So the wider you go the faster he must have been going
Lukas
I'm sure I read somewhere 70-80 on the straights...probably 85 at Berwick!
Tsunami
I'm sure I read somewhere 70-80 on the straights...probably 85 at Berwick! Was actually timed about 3 years ago by a Police speed gun, and i think the recorded speed was about 72 mph. Fastest recorded on a speedway track. BluPanther
Was actually timed about 3 years ago by a Police speed gun, and i think the recorded speed was about 72 mph. Fastest recorded on a speedway rack. You might get a 'ribbing' about that

Panthers89
Not good news at all, Holub was really starting to click, need the top 4 to do a job now as both meetings this week won't be easy.

Seriously understrenghth , Scunthorpe and Berwick will be rubbing there hands now as Tom Stokes moves NO;7 and r/r for Simon Lambert. Surprised Panthers havn't been able to find a temp replacement for Simon . typical though you wait for a bus to come and then get 2 come together . So are we going to draft in a replacement NO;8 as I think we might need to.
Bagpuss
A good opportunity for Tom to show what he can do.

Lukas
Oh dear what a bad couple of weeks for Panthers which could be whole lot worse come Friday...can't believe we havnt brought someone in...it means with Grondal off form getting loads of rides and now bringing in Stokes who I fear will struggle despite the effort..we are sitting ducks.

Looks like RR for both teams Tuesday. Edited July 10, 2016 by bigcatdiary

I wouldn't be counting my chickens on panthers turning over scunny they look like they've hit a bit of form, come the end of the week panthers could have lost as many as scunny at home in the league , grondals got to be getting points rapidly

Lukas
To be fair at least it now makes the Scunthorpe match more competitive as its boring watching a 60-30 or whatever it was like last time...I'm abit worried for the Berwick match though.
