dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
He now has a 5 point average. According to the bspa website he is now in the main body with Lambert at reserve.there has been a number of errors with the official averages already.Think Perry has to stay at 7 regardless of average. New era Panthers
there has been a number of errors with the official averages already. Think Perry has to stay at 7 regardless of average. I had the impression all NO-7'S were in a protected position for the whole of the 2016 season regardless of there average achieved as well as being protected in heats 2 and 4 . Am I wrong or is this a rule change that that nobody seems to know anything about. I do know that what ever his average is above 3 it's used in calculating team building averages but I thought that was as far as it went . Does anybody have any ideas on this. Panthers89
You don't even know if he will miss any matches yet! I think he will now don't you...... Sounds like Perry is in the main body of the side from Sunday?

peterborough daz
Ged has confirmed this morning that Perry is now in the main body of the team. Hansen likely to guest for NBJ
Panthers89
So question is how does replacing Perry for a meeting go? RR? But means foreign riders riding Guest but British? National league of any average? Means Ellis?

Lukas
Its a good job Sundays meeting is not important as he has been our only plus this season..I think its wrong that the young Brits who were meant to be at 7 all season are a victim of their own success by getting put in the main body of the team but in this case it looks to have worked in our favour if we can replace him with a rider of a similar average which is now 5 something. peterborough daz
So r/r for perry enables Lambert, Stokes and Grondal to take an extra ride.

Baldyman
I thought the whole idea of the 3 pointer was they stayed at 7 all season. Obviously not.
peterborough daz
I thought the whole idea of the 3 pointer was they stayed at 7 all season. Obviously not. I think that was everyone's understanding. On the other hand I bet they didn't believe they'd have a number 7 averaging 5.5

Baldyman
So who is now your number 7? And is his heat 4 protected? So you could have a solid 5 pointer at reserve now and they get a protected heat 4 against a 3 pointer. Mmmmm. Or is that heat only protected whilst a 3 pointer is in it? Who knows. But also is perry would have stayed at number 7 and say finished with an average of say 6, who would give him a job next season in the main team? Like everything I don't think it's been thought through that well Edited May 19, 2016 by baldyman
junior fan
I thought the whole idea of the 3 pointer was they stayed at 7 all season. Obviously not. Surely that has to be the case other wise what was the point of the rule. So you can replace your number 7 with a foreigner but can't use a pom that's got over a three point average and had been stopped from riding , surely not. Baldyman
Although it's a nothing meeting I shall be there Sunday and hoping the king v cook races are top notch
bigcatdiary
So r/r for perry enables Lambert, Stokes and Grondal to take an extra ride. No, Perry is above Grondal in the GSA so it's Jakobsen/Hansen, Grondal, Lambert & Stokes although Lambert could indeed take 2 RR rides. Hansen assumes the average of the rider he replaces.
