bigcatdiary
just who are the people on "the comitee" they should be named so that they can be publicly questioned as to their reasoning, it's just not good enough. BSPA Management Committee Chairman - Keith Chapman (Kings Lynn) Vice Chairman - Rob Godfrey (Scunthorpe) Colin Pratt (Swindon) Chris Van Straten (Wolverhampton) & George English (Newcastle) Can this be appealed?..Ged please don't quit we need u more than ever!..though I can understand your frustration...they are worse than FIFA. The statement mentions an appeal.

Najjer
Interesting to know how to come to a decision on this - do they vote and the majority is the final decision? More than likely self interest and the Premier League promotors have voted no, one would assume. It'd be ironic if English voted no after trying to sign Lambert before and then being told no himself. Pathetic. What a truly shocking decision. Best interests of British Speedway, yeah right..... Edited May 6, 2016 by Najjer
Baldyman
So what would happen now if porsing says no thanks?
CoolPanther
In 'the interests of British Speedway' they should clarify the situation by giving fans of British Speedway the results of their vote,if indeed they even act so fairly as to have a vote. Pantherman
So what would happen now if porsing says no thanks? The BSPA will fine Peterborough for fielding an under strength team
damosuzuki
Could be major issues for Peterborough. At the moment without a team.... Come on Buster, open and transparent. That's what you said. Hee haw mention on their twitter.

Dodger Blue
This has got to be the lowest point speedway can fall, I have been watching since the mid 70's and have never, until this point thought 'I cant be bothered' well now that's exactly how I feel. Why have people running the sport who are intent on ending it?? I have tickets for the World Cup at Manchester but cant be bothered I have purchased my first ever season ticket for football ready for next season and thank goodness I made that decision because that's where my hard earned will be going!!!! AJK86
This is a barmy decision, Craig Cook on tv other night was saying he is skint at moment and this was a great move for him and the premier league, Craig Cook v Steady at Owlerton always a big draw for fans and same elsewhere round country. flagrag
This is totally wrong on the BSPA part how can they block an asset to the premier league from riding in his own country especially when BV and rider are all in favour of the move. This just goes to show how the BSPA management team are only there to protect their self interest.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
I was hoping for Ellis, so Brit for Brit. Waiting for a statement from the BSPA but we will be waiting a long time fair point and personally I would love to see Adam back in the PL - even with the pussycats!! Could be blocked as well though. No 2015 average and gas now missed more than 1 season so technically has to come in on concerted EL average. Of course the "best interests" you would hope would be invoked in his case too to allow it on his 4.67 but who knows. Also if/when Scunny reintroduce Lygager that will need MC sanction - I wonder if they will get it.....
Noodles
So what would happen now if porsing says no thanks?Peterborough would have to go with a NL rider whilst two Brits needlessly sit on the sidelines. Panther's would get fined for fielding a under strength team, the attendance will be poor & the future of Speedway in Peterborough plunged in to doubt again....... ... but all in the best interests of British speedway of course.
comet49
Absolute farce, I hope Craig does get another team. It would be interesting to know who the leading parties were in getting him blocked. Edited May 6, 2016 by comet49
Baldyman
Maybe it's time a new sport was invented, under a new body, with a proper rule book without silly rules.
Arson fire
If panthers had been as quick to make changes last year they might have done better, instead of manipulating at guest at number one for months, what goes around comes around eh? bspa has bent over backwards for you lot.... Never bloody happy
