Panthers89
If he cried off then why would he go off injured in heat 13. Pretty rubbishty thing for you to say tbh without the facts

New era Panthers
How will we cope without his usual 5 point return? A devastating loss. Rider replacement rides might get his 5 points then again it may not as Jakobsen, Palm Toft , Grondal can each take a extra ride and the 2 reserves can also take extra rides . Again it depends on which Panthers team turn up. Ostergaard and Jakobsen are really running a 2 man show at the moment and Panthers are in need of another 7 point plus rider to back them up ,Perry aside I can't see any of the other 4 riders stepping up to the mark. New era Panthers
It was never going to work starting nigh on 2 points under the limit Who knows Leicester were 5000/1 to win the premiership, The last 2 results must put a doubt in Ged's mind about the capabilities of the make up of this squads balance , yes we've had 3 good away results but against weak opposition , when it come to the top end we are a poor second best definitely need another heatleader to back up Ostergaard and Jakobsen and reserve Perry the rest have had there chance and let Panthers down badly so if they get replaced they know why, they've just not been good enough. Pete Greenwood
It dos'nt take a lot before some supporters ( I use the word loosely) turn on their once can do no wrong team . Listen to thee selves slagging off Panthers who put there neck on the line to entertain fans . Alright things are not going our way at the moment but turn it around ,if people were saying such things about some of you at your place of work how would it make you feel bloody low I would say . Support Ged , and your Panthers , if moves are needed rest assured Ged Father will do it . Keep the faith I say .

I'M 100% behind which ever way Ged wants to take the team forward and will support all riders but you must admit there are 4 riders at the moment are not pulling there wait. Ideally it will all click very soon but I have my doubts,

We were told at the start of the season the aim was to wipe silverware and remain unbeaten at home. One of those has gone already and too enable us to have any chance changes need to be made

MD
At the next set of averages several teams will likely be looking for changes but try the likes of Justin Sedgmen, Nick Morris, Ty Proctor etc. Judging from Sunday, having Lambert on an average around 4.5 at reserve is a waste when you could get the same return from a 3 pointer. Simon Neilsen on a similar average turned up with Redcar the previous week and rattled up a decent score.

On april 26 on Peterborough v Somerset thread you were saying we should bring back young Greenwood (Ollie) and using M.P.T. as an example and drop one other under performing rider to bring in a good NO1 . So what side of the fence are you on then .Also if I was failing at work so badly I wouldn't expect to retain my employment as would anyone else in that position. I am on the side of the Panthers Team, New era . There are ways and means of doing things behind the scenes without slagging riders off who may not then give there best for our Panthers team . So its best to sort things on the QT in my opinion. The comment you make regarding your work situation is a bit simplistic, we all struggle at times when trying to give our best and sometime need a little support from our employer . I would guess that for a rider it is easier to score points than not but sometimes things do not happen the way you wish they would. I have faith in Ged and believe that news will come as soon as he has any, we must be patient a while longer !
jenga
people failing in work , sack em . D.W.P. cameron etc . yes i agree , get rid of all those under performing people . I.D.S. saw the light and left , so come on riders . pull the plug and let someone else have a go . i mean there are loads of riders out there looking for a job . but they will not jump at the chance to gain employment with you if you are going to dump them 2 months into the season . hang with what you have and see what develops . i take it morrissey fan is doing his 6 year old sats . You quoted as you say about some supporters (loosely ) well you are no different from those now are you as you was suggesting the very same thing yourself. We all want the best for our team at the end of the day and you can't blame supporters for enthusiastically advocating where they would like to improve the team, It,s not about slagging riders off . TheScotsman
I think if I was Lambert, Toft or Grondal I might feel I was being slagged off. You may call it "enthusiastically advocating where you would like to improve the team", but it would be at my expense.
