Lord Lucan
Good luck with that CD, I hope you get a nice day also, got some catching up to do!! Not always the fault of Mother Nature tho is it, from my perspective, working is the big issue but blank weekends dont help me either just as much as a rain off doesn't, shame that very few clubs will make an effort to bring matches forward in order to help one another out especially when times are tough and support dwindling at the least opportunity? It's a big ask to maintain support when you continually have nothing "too" support?
scaramanga
It's sad to read these comments. It's been incredibly frustrating for everyone concerned but we cannot beat Mother Nature. We hope to see as many there as possible on Saturday. Fingers crossed for a sunny day. but its not just the weather dan other teams not helping to arange rain off reruns british gp pl 4,s and world cup blank dates its all playing its part i enjoy speedway but im afraid the writtings on the wall for workington comets poor crowds and too many weeks without a home meeting driving others away lack of help from media its all adding up derwent park is a good venue for speedway but its dying and looks like its dying quick

Normski
Fixture list needs sorted big time Berwicks last home meeting was July 2nd and if it was not for the fact we are riding on a Wednesday July 27th against Glasgow, next meeting involving the team wouild be Saturday August 6th. Can sympathise with Comets fans with all there blank dates as well.

We advertise speedway on a Saturday during the summer, we just dont specify which Saturday that is??

SCB
hes failed to qualify for a work permit twice. That's pretty crap. And I think you'll find I pointed out months ago hed qualify this year. Any rider who wants a work permit will get a place in a state final final. They'll all be fiddled! All those Workington fans who think he's any good will be happy to takers bet then. I have £2000 that says Campton doesn't average 6, can be split between you. Put your money where your mouth is. I don't expect you to, nobody ever does on here. You all mouth off but nobody ever back it up with money. We can all see why you refused to take the bet now! Couldn't even get 4.5. 3 attempts at a 5 point average, 3 failures.
jenga
are you related to morrissey fan ? so you wanted to take a 2 grand bet to say mason wouldn't reach a 6 point average, yet the guy was stuck with a sub 5 average . thats a huge increase in his average he would have to achieve .. over 1 and a bit points . so your bet was a safe one . exultant odds for yourself . keep your money in your pocket and have a night out with morrissey fan . w/nk !
