Ben91
Probably the highly rated duo: Local Junior Another Local-Junior.
MD
Its an hour to tapes up, we dont even know who is riding for the opposition whose season is over and its currently pi55ing down! Not exactly an event to inspire the good people new and old who have turned out this season.

TheScotsman
It'll be a struggle for weegies to do any average lowering.

Alan_Jones
What was the point of dropping the Swedes to bring in Lambert? To make sure he was on board for next season. This season was long over and we've been moaning for years about Len not even being reactive, let alone proactive.

You really think Lambert will race PL next season, and for a Saturday night track.

If Lambert races PL next year (hes not been too bothered about it this year) then it will be for whichever team offer him the most money. If he decides to ride in Poland then he wont race on a Saturday track

I wouldn't be surprised if he did PL only plus whatever European contracts he can get.
SCB
If Rye Houses line up wasn't a laugh (to anyone who's not paid to see it!) I see they have just out their #8 out and he's been excluded on 2 minutes.
cyclone
What's the point of putting out a more expensive side? Do you not think the paying spectators at Ashfield this afternoon are being short changed by the Rockets choice of guests to replace Bowen ( a junior who is not even an NL regular starter) and Jakobsen (a 3pt PL rider). ? If Rockets did really try to get better options such as Doolan/Hansen for Busk and Ashley Morris/Perry for Bowen, then it's unfortunate they failed. But there is no getting away from this being a one sided contest from the outset.

Lambert and Jakobsen were already carrying injuries before last night as are Lykke and Maassen so it was always going to be a struggle after going all that way straight after a home double header. It reminds me of some of the awful teams Glasgow put out in the Blantyre days.
RobMcCaffery
Yet again the paying public are shafted. People wonder why the sport's lost so many customers? Poor value for money. Contempt for those spending it. Average-fixing, sending out substandard teams, caring only about the result not the entertainment. It all adds up in the long term and it has. You have to feel for those trying to improve the situation like the Facennas.
