How about this team?

1 Danny King 9.54

2 Mads Korneliussen 8.33

3 Nicolas Covatti 7.55

4 James Wright 4.87

5 Adam Ellis 4.67

6 Ashley Morris 4.53

7 AN Other 3.00

Total: 42.49

What a shocking team, would finish bottom of the league. James Wright is now a poor reserve at best, no thank you.

Erm no. Between 6.3 and 6.8. It's now higher than its ever been, so I can only see it going down, cos he isn't getting any better. Okay it could roughly stay the same, but I don't think it's ever gonna get any better. The one thing you do get from morten though is his professionalism

Morton joined plymouth with an average of 7-36 he had a slow start to his time with us but was the reason we made the playoffs and the witches didn't tbh

If and its a big if, morten does return he will be a great 4th heat leader ,good for at least 6 points almost anywhere he rides. That leaves the last 3 riders to pick up around 10 points between them. If the top of the team is as suggested on here then I would say that the last 3 riders will be what decides on how well the Witches do next year.

Im mistaken then. I never thought he ever averaged over 7

I always thought the problem with morten is that he didn't score 6 almost everywhere, but more like 10 3 8 2 11.

Maybe I'm blinkered cos his style of riding bores me to bits

Again it's hypothetical but then again we've little else to go on or discuss, but if the proposed team is close to the mark (obviously no Nielsen now), Then Risager will have three heatleaders above him who will shoulder the main point scoring responsibility.

Risager as a second string is absolutely fine.

Is that really a problem though? Those consistent 6's might not help to contribute to any victory, where as a couple of those double figure score certainly could.

Risager has tracks he performs well on, as well as some he's awful on. But you can say the same for the majority of PL riders.

For a 4th heat leader there would not be many better. Maybe as the local paper has a quiet day sports wise on tuesday we may get an announcement. Like said ,all hyperthetical at the moment but gives us all things to talk about. From what I have seen so far though not many teams look mega strong apart from maybe the possibility of Glasgow.

I think one of the main weaknesses with Ipswich in recent years has been home track form. We're decent on the road, but have lacked specialists at Foxhall. I've heard that the track has been setup for good racing which favours opponents, but provides more entertainment. There are some terrible reserves in the PL so all you need is two three pointers who can add a point to the averages and you'll have more points to play with for the top five.

One rider I'd like to see return is Dak North!

Ban home afternoon meetings. Sheffield at home was terrible.

I dont disagree that we have struggled in those afternoon meetings when the sun shines but to rule out those two meetings would mean foregoing about a quarter of the whole seasons income.

You have mentioned the thinning crowds on the terraces so can we afford to give up meetings that attract 3x the normal turnout?

Just seen a tweet back to Paco Castagna which says hope you enjoy riding with your friend next year in the UK. My bet is that's your number 6
