dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Would Wilson dean be a 3 or 5 point average or even a 7? The name of Worrall is coming up a lot. Would he even want to ride for the witches again? And kerr would be a massive risk, although I hope someone does take it.BWD should be a 3 - if not he shouldnt have been allowed to ride NL. Worrall ® is bound to be on a few wish lists - obvious potential to add 2 points with little chance of dropping further.
ColinMills
the "reason" or "excuse" for dropping down, was, cos it had gone stale.....next season appears even worse than the last 5.. I have to watch my speedway elsewhere these days, but keep an eye on this thread.....would of been back in a flash with a new broom, but hey ho, will have to wait another year now!!
Blackadder
Just call him Zach28, and we will know who you mean. is 28 the scrabble score for his name? Yes. Josh33 is another example.

ColinMills
im fully aware you won nothing of any substance, witches clearly going backwards, crowds are down, failed to reach top 6 in weaker league, I don't have to go to see a backward decline!..you could have passing in every race of the season, but coming "7th" makes it pointless
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
And dull processional 'races' meeting after meeting but winning the league would be worthwhile?? Not in my book - Im not that shallow or fickle.

ZODIAK
I genuinely don't see a difference in the entertainment from our EL days to our current PL days. Both served up poor, okay and good entertainment in equal measure as far as I'm concerned.

ColinMills
so where do you watch your super exciting trophy laden speedway now Colin?bit aggressive aren't we?....its not about winning trophies (though it certainly helps), its about being "mis-lead"....I put 37 yrs in at foxhall, so clearly I seen poor years, also saw the best.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Not aggressive at all. Just intrigued as to where you would now rather be than Foxhall even if it is 'the poor times' after 37 years. Lynn,Arena,Rye,Boro??? Further away? Certainly none of those locals are having a boom time either. Or is it more personal?
ColinMills
I personally prefer elite speedway, even though in todays terms "elite" may be pushing it a bit. I actually love Brandon, shame its closing

I think it's not personal, although he's been whining on here and slagging of Ipswich / CL for the last few seasons, he's also being just as negative on other clubs threads ? I sometimes wonder if the lack of fans in the modern era is having to stand next to miserable sods like Mills on the terraces, It probably does more to put punters off than anything else.

Baldyman
Are you sure that's the one for you?
Electric6
After several attempts I would be reasonably happy... I think all riders could surpass their starting averages with King sustaining 9+ avg
proud panther
Good team Electric6, & with the millions from his new book sales, Louis should be able to afford it lol.
Bash
1 Danny King 9.54 2 Emil Grondal 5.12 (Swap Loan with Tungate going to Peterborough) 3 Richie Worrall 6.84 4 Nicolaj Klindt 5.89 5 Nico Covatti 7.55 6 Adam Ellis 4.67 (4.55 with reduction) 7 Zach Waijnecht 3.00 Total 42.49 I think this line-up has potential to improve their starting averages and challenge for the title.
