Reviresco
On another theme: The End of Season Party has been re-scheduled until 4th November due to the Witches continued involvement in the PL Play Offs. Bookings being taken at the nest home meeting or via the Supporters Club.
Baldyman
How many people normally go to this? Is under 100 or hundreds? I don't know the venue so have no idea about its size
Reviresco
I went once in 1991 and there was at least 80 people there and I was the only bloke not wearing a tie and Shane Parker was brilliant and talked with me which was really nice of him No idea on the venue but it may have changed since it was originally planned as it was probably in a telephone box on Foxhall Road until the team picked up. Guess it may be in the Kesgrave Social Club (whatever that is). Maybe the Massif should hold an alternative EoS Do? EDIT: Apparently there is going to be Inter Fan Involvement - which means the Fans clap when they are told to, or they make up their own amusement and inspire the team to a PLPO Semi Final from absolutely nowhere. Baldyman
Oh so it's not a massive thing then? It's never really appealed to me much, but I did think it may have been more than that. Didn't it used to be in that hotel next to the old bit of a12?
Reviresco
In one of the bedrooms? Possibly, Definitely when John Cook was riding (?!) for the witches....
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
I think the massif should support this complete with full 'orchestra'.
Reviresco
100% Agreed Bruv of Bruv. We can be the entertainment. TBHH, I am really excited about going now that the date has changed and we can re-present the Massif Trophy...?
Tom Thumb
Ufford Park Hotel is the venue. www.uffordpark.co.uk Edited October 4, 2016 by Tom Thumb
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Ufford Park (decent venue) £22 with what is described as a 'quality buffett' (they have a lot to live up to after the massif effort in the stands!!) Everyone needs to go to the cashpoint before the Somerset meeting and get their ticket.....
