Baldyman
Have a good time Richard. We gonna miss your funny quips on the megaphone
Reviresco
Megaphone mark 1 (not really Berwick's honest) in safe keeping with Beer Hut (that must be an oxymoron?). Mega megaphone (Mark 2) obtained courtesy of Music World, Queen Street, Ipswich and could launch a thousand ships. Danyon destroyed his really quick No. 1 engine i Heat 15 at Belle Vuse tonight, where he rode at No. 2 and scored: 3,2,3,2,EF F which followed up his score on Wednesday of: 3,3,3,2+, 2. Looking really classy and quick until then. At least only the engine was a right off and man is ok Would be good to get a collection together for Danyon on Thursday, but I guess they will hold the rearranged Ben Fund collection on Thursday. EDIT: Congratulations to Cam on his selection for the Australian Joeys squad for the FIM U21 World Team Cup Final at Norrkoping on 20 August. A reward for his commitment to his sport and his country since arriving in Britain as a 15 year old to race in the NL for Mildenhall in 2011. TheScotsman
That's pretty good. Hopefully these tyres will still be in place on the track on Thursday.

JamesB
So, if we win all the home meetings and can pick up a 4 point win at Redcar, would 43 points see us sneak in to the play offs? Sorry, working off an old table so 1 home meeting too many. Still, would 40 be enough? Edited August 15, 2016 by JamesB
Baldyman
Not really James. If Newcastle win their matches in hand.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Not winning at Worky was a bigger blow that not picking up point(s) at Glasgow IMO. Reverse the 44-46 - just 2 race points wouldve meant a 5 point swing in the match points. 2 more for us 3 less for Worky.
Baldyman
Always tough to get something at worky, so I think we did well there. Even Chris thinks it was easier to get something at Glasgow..but the lads let themselves down for some reason

Reviresco
Macca - spoke with Matt today (he teaches my son guitar) - you order in ready......Thanks for that Bruv's Bruv. Hope you had a good break. I meant to pop in and see Matt before I left for Brum, but this semi-retired lark takes up an awful lot of your time....... I have an appointment in Solihull this morning but will (should) be back in time to pop into Town and pick up my new Sat-Nav (wink). Now, if your son plays guitar.........,......? Baldyman
Bring your son bruv and we can all rock out. Or is he learning classical? Should be a great evening for speedway. Edited August 18, 2016 by baldyman

TB1
According to Newcastle's website they have 8 remaining fixtures but have only ridden 13 meetings. Either I'm missing something if they are going to miss the cut off.

Susans1
I agree with Mick the Muppet regarding Danyon Hume although he has great potential I feel he is out of his depth in the Premier League and at the moment he is a danger to himself and other riders I would be very interested in other peoples opinions on this subject. Reviresco
Got mine ready, although it's a bit dirty. Anyone else wearing them? Apart from me...? I agree with Mick the Muppet regarding Danyon Hume although he has great potential I feel he is out of his depth in the Premier League and at the moment he is a danger to himself and other riders I would be very interested in other peoples opinions on this subject. Dan looked fully in control last night. Bike set-up was perfected by the end of the meeting, but he is aided at Perry Bar by a consistent track, something he hasn't been afforded in his outings at Foxhall to date.
