I think is important to finish with some solid home performances and wins -that's what 90% of fans are concerned by IMO.

Play offs are gone so anything away is all but irrelevant.

Entertainment at home is the name of the game for me from here on in.

Well I read with interest all the witty remarks by the usual corresponders on this focus site but lets face it guys all we want is some success and a team to be proud of again.

I do not worry who takes over as long as this happens again after so many dull boring years. But a takeover is paramount as CL seems to have gone very stale with continuous false promises and dull

unexciting teams all seem to just be just slung together if it fits with little thought to the finer details needed.

I always continue to go to foxhall it seems now because of thats what I do but oh! for those JB years back again.

And how do they do that clap exactly?

Winning would be good, being entertained whilst on the way to a win even better. More than anything though..is i want to see some riders in my team that try their hardest like barker in a way. I don't like to see my riders being overtaken so easily and then not chasing them back down. A couple of times on Sunday both our riders were passed on the same corner. I want riders that know how to use their elbows to the first turn.

I completely agree and having been going to Foxhall since 1971 these toothless displays just don't wash with me. I'm afraid to say i can take it or leave it these days..

As I posted on the Scunthorpe thread, personally an exciting draw would be perfect on Thursday - Thursday? Yes, Thursday, a meeting at Foxhall on a Thursday, whoop de do ooh!

I believe that CL has gone into each of the last 5 seasons thinking that he has put a title winning side together with an out and out no, 1, only to be let down by his 1 to 7 with a few exceptions, e.g. Covatti last season. CL's reaction at Hoddesdon in the 2nd leg of the KOC match, said it all to me. He cares but has had enough, imo.

It appears from what HKP said in his post, that Ed Nicholls is not taking on the Club next season. If that is the case, where does it leave the Club? NL?

EDIT ( due to memory failure, lol): Not many promoter's shout their riders a pre season trip to Italy. Looking back on the photos outside the trattoria nobody surely could have forecast the way this season has gone.
