Baldyman
Surely Chris would like to hand the club over with some fans left though? Or maybe he has just had enough now?

Baldyman
We just have to write this season off. Better times ahead it seems.. Let's hope so. Although I do feel sorry for Chris, it isn't his fault that some riders haven't performed. A couple of riders from last night's sky match that don't currently race in the premier league. Thorsell and Huckenbeck
bigcatdiary
Thorsell cannot ride PL this year as his 2016 EL starting average is above 6.
Gavan
Its obvious where the issues are. A top 2 of King and Covatti not being up to the high standards of last year Kerr should be a solid heat leader, yes he has had a bad accident but sentiment cant play a part Sarjeant is ok one week and poor the next The reserves arent good enough. You can carry one reserve but we will be lucky if our 2 get 10 points between them in any meeting For me the only one who has done his job is Risager
E I Addio
Let's hope so. Although I do feel sorry for Chris, it isn't his fault that some riders haven't performed.A couple of riders from last night's sky match that don't currently race in the premier league. Thorsell and Huckenbeck Lewis Bridger is under a six point average in the EL and needs more rides. A move to Ipswich woukd suit him and the club, but at the moment it seems the BSPA are blocking any move to a PL club even though they agreed to Craig Cook doubling down even though he is average in the EL is two points higher than Bridgers. Total inconsistency by the BSPA. Paco is not the problem, Kerr low scoring is. Kerr has scored consecutive paid maximums in his last two home meetings for Lakeside. He obviously has the ability but for some reason Ipswich are not bringing it out.

FFS, have we got to go over the Craig Cook thing again Craig Cook is allowed to ride PL because he has a 2015 PL average to allow him to do so Bridger can't ride PL because his average was higher than 6.00 at the start of the season They are the rules, end of debate saying that, I hope going forward from 2017 all Brits with no international commitments (Poland, Sweden, Denmark) can double down regardless of EL average. 2ndbendbeerhut
IPSWICH 42.01 41.35 -0.66 Danny King 9.54 9.27 -0.27 James Sarjeant 4.88 4.58 -0.3 Lewis Kerr 6.85 6.59 -0.26 Morten Risager 6.86 7.04 0.18 Nico Covatti 7.55 7.74 0.19 Paco Castagna 3.33 3.13 -0.2 Ritchings/ Greenwood 3.00 3 0 You can see from the above stats who is not doing their jobs, only 2 riders have improved their aves, but most are riding to "about" their aves! Yes Castagna has been poor but hes a 3 point man scoring 3 points! Same can be said for Sarjeant and Kerr, just think we were expecting them to up their aves by a point! Currently there is 1.15 to play with but who are available? Bridger has an ave over 6.00 at the season start so rules him out, Kenneth Bjerre on a EL ave of 5.87, Michelsen/ Milik on 5.67. Or P Karlsson on 5.51? Could go for Rob Mear from Lakeside. From the PL Ty Proctor on 6.68 looks a like for like swap for Kerr, permit permitting.... Ashley Morris the same for Sarjeant... Whats Lewis Blackbird upto? Edited May 31, 2016 by 2ndbendbeerhut

Don`t think there should be a problem with a visa for Proctor, as he went for a Tier 2 visa which meant he couldn't start racing over here till now, whether you`d want him in your team is another matter of course. Baldyman
What I never seem to get is that a team above us like the panthers could make a change to bring a rider like cook in but it looks like we would struggle to bring any rider in that would improve the team. I suppose to really strengthen up we would need to make multiple changes.
Super Blue
I know there's much talk of radical changes within the hierarchy and status of Ipswich for next season and with that thought in mind do we really think that there will be anything more than the odd little tweak with the team this year? I certainly don't, that's for sure! Greenwood for Ritchings was never going to change anything. Would having Tungate or Heeps this year have made a difference, Nope. We don't have a track that anybody seems to like riding, apart from a very select few and for whatever reason they have never been signed up. As others have said I think we just need to give up on this campaign with the hope that better things are on the horizon for 2017. Also not forgetting the fact that there may not be be many fans left to actually see us go into this new era, apart from maybe a few of us aging diehards from the glory years! Sad times at the moment for a once great and powerful speedway team.

Panthers89
But he isn't going well for Ipswich. He's struggling badly, sometimes it doesn't work out for a rider and I think this is the case
Pete Greenwood
I agree with Chris , the team on paper should kick arse but for what ever reason it just ain't happening at the moment . I think the team rely to much on Danny ,Morton and Nico need to step up more to give Danny better support Lewis looks to be trying his heart out on the jawa think If he was on a GM it may give him more confidence , James always tries his heart out and imo would benefit from a spell at number 6 , Paco , who couldn't like Paco but it's that Jawa thing again imo , he needs to step up to a 4 plus , Greenwood has only just arrived so encourage the lad he was unlucky to be excluded at EOESG he is doing what it says on the tin 3.00 . The whole team needs encouragement , slating them of puts more pressure on them and is not welcome I'm sure . Support the lads they will come good l recon ! Shadders
But he isn't going well for Ipswich. He's struggling badly, sometimes it doesn't work out for a rider and I think this is the case In Garritys last season at Rye he was very inconsistent while putting in match winning performances for Coventry in the EL. Many of us suspected he wasn't really putting the effort in for us while getting rave reviews on Sky. I'm not saying Kerr isn't putting 100% for Ipswich, just making a comparison. Do you think the riders come on here and care about what we write? Over many seasons many an under performing rider has been supported, it never makes any difference.

Baldyman
Your right. It's not a kick arse team. Hence why no one thought it was good enough to make the play offs.
