Reviresco
yes well done to the lad but you shouldn't read to much in to this , just take a look at the opposition , doesn't look very strong also Tom Perry scored 14+1 and he's been really struggling of late at premier league level, but well done to the lad anyway Wasn't reading too much into it NEP , just simply stating the facts and describing Dan's riding style tonight. Still got to be done and he did it in style. As I concluded: Onward and Upward, still a long way to go but for a young English rider who had never seen speedway until he switched codes and threw his leg over a speedway bike just over 12 months ago, not a bad effort and nearly doubling his starting NL average, Dan will do for me thank you.
Pob
Every rider has to start somewhere ! Well done Danyon Hume this season keeps getting better and better for you lad . If there are enough folk interested, mini bus would be the way to go I guess.Otherwise four in a car.I guess the Supporters Club wouldn't organise something. ...? As much as i'd love to make the trip to give the Witches some Massif support gonna have to pass on this one as not got any spare days left to take this year . As for the supporters club you never hear about any away trips these days apart from the annual trip to Cardiff. My dad tells me in years gone by there was always coach trips arranged for away matches and mostly well supported but now its a thing of the past .
Baldyman
Ipswich very rarely have away support these days apart from at Rye and the showground. When I'm away I only ever seem to see the same one or two faces. It's not a cheap thing to do anymore. From someone that used to go to nearly all away matches, I've cut down to only a few this season. TB1
With Sheffield beating Rye House tonight the pressure is really on us now. However a maximum 7 points from Sheffield and red car should hopefully keep us in the running.
AntiqueSteve
Looks like the only chance Ippo have now is if Peterboro slip up in one of their matches this Sunday ? (can't see it happening though with their beefed up last minute side)
Bezza
All will be a lot clearer come next Friday night. Let's get the 7pts required from our next fixtures and go from there. Anything less and we can start sharing ideas about the 16 lapper line up. Edited September 3, 2016 by Bezza
Icicle
Good to note Jo Jo topping the Scores for BV, hope he keeps doing the same for Witches!

Anything less and we can start sharing ideas about the 16 lapper line up. Well we got the seven points we needed, whats the position now with the Kitties loosing ? (Is it just me, can't work out why they have one match left listed, is there another match in line somewhere ?)
2ndbendbeerhut
We have Newcastle home and away.... Peterborough have Rye at home on Monday.. then an away fixture at Edinburgh. Edited September 10, 2016 by 2ndbendbeerhut
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Boro have Rye at home and Edinburgh away I think. Sheffield Rye away and Scunny at home. We need to match or better their results from our 2 Newcastle matches to qualify. No counting chickens. If you were Newcastle who would you prefer in the play offs at the moment - a rampant Witches, a stuttering Sheffield or and imploding Peterborough........ every incentive for them to put a spanner in the works. 2ndbendbeerhut
Sheffield have Garrity out for the rest of the season. Newcastle have Rose out too. Snd have signed Morris as a replacement. So rr for Garrity Edited September 10, 2016 by 2ndbendbeerhut
montie
You have to give the Ipo team alot of credit after a poor start getting to where they are now is a great effort all round
Baldyman
We have done well, but all the thanks should go to Peterborough that were doing okay but it wasn't good enough and they are now worse than ever😂😂😂😂
Alan R Horne
Brilliant win by the Witches at Redcar all our riders are on form now, what a shame its so so late in the season. It seems to be a fight between us, Boro and Sheffield but what about Workington? Im sure you good people will put me right if Im wrong. Whatever our 2 remaining matches against Newcastle are very hard indeed and more than 4 points in all dont look like an option.
Reviresco
Dare the Witches Fans dream....? Forty Years on from the 1976 League and Cup Double and Pairs winning Team..... What a shame Panters v Rye House is rearranged on Monday. Already committed to Kent v Brummies. Maybe it will rain in the Fens, or the track prep goes awfully wrong like it did at the EoES for the Double Header that never was. Super Blue
I would say qualification for the playoffs is now in our own hands but realistically we won't be getting much out of the trip to Newcastle so I think we're still in the realms of what happens elsewhere. However we are not the only ones with difficult away matches to get points from so it's a distinct possibility if not probability that we may make it. I'm hoping for the miracle which didn't even look remotely likely only a couple of weeks back!
TheScotsman
The rain will decide the playoff places.

Reviresco
Nice 11pt haul for the Witches No.7 Guesting at No. 1 for Stoke at Loomer Road versus Cradley tonight. Riding within himself with a big slab of fish to fry on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
