ZODIAK
That's not very professional of Hilton to be mentioning the team to people before louis has released it. That's an understatement and I think Louis will be livid!
CardinalSin
Wow what a team...... Thanks to phil Hilton for the tip off at tonight's dinner dance. 5 brits a dane and an Italian. ..... So mike bacon if ya reading this Mr Hilton has just informed me of... King Kerr Risager Nielsen Covatti Rose Ritchings Think Mike already knows judging by his last two follows on twitter! Not too sure on that line up to be honest. Looks a pretty long tail to me and I'm not sure about Nielsen in the 1-5 either. You'd expect good points from King, Kerr, Covatti and Risager most meetings though so looks competitive but I don't think it'll be one of the pre-season favourites. ZODIAK
Dont understand some of you knocking morton he was great for plymuth last season and we wanted him back! 3 reserves is a long tail though unless stefan can kick on though None of the Risager knocking has, or will come from me. I'm fine with Risager he is what he is, a solid if unspectacular third heatleader. I think some of the criticism aimed at him is more to do with his lack of entertainment on track rather than his point scoring. Again I think that's a little harsh as although there are undoubtedly riders out there more entertaining, Risager does have his moments. Some of Risager's biggest critics on here would love to have seen Ritchie Worrall return to the side and that's something else I don't understand either. Having watched him for a season I didn't find him the least bit entertaining and I personally don't think he's a better rider points wise than Risager either. Worrall seems to have been on a "bargain" average now for three years but still hasn't managed to increase it since that initial breakthrough season at Newcastle where he went from reserve to Heatleader. All about opinions though obviously and I respect others. What I will say though is that although Risager gets targeted for criticism on here more than most, at the actual stadium he seems to be well received. ruffdiamond
Lewis Kerr? A big risk if it is. possibly,,, but in the circumstances, a local club puts a less pressure on things. Hope it works out for him and he makes a good return
2ndbendbeerhut
Think Mike already knows judging by his last two follows on twitter! Well just in case as he used comments from this forum for quotes in his paper recently! As for Hilton, it wasn't just the team he would tell anyone... was also making his feelings known about the departing riders in no uncertain terms! Looks like Hawkins was 100% right about him! Super Blue
If that is the team then another season of mid table mediocrity springs to mind for me, far too many weak links. And as has been said before Chris Louis will have an absolute fit that the team release has come out this way!
Alan R Horne
Wow what a team...... Thanks to phil Hilton for the tip off at tonight's dinner dance. 5 brits a dane and an Italian. ..... So mike bacon if ya reading this Mr Hilton has just informed me of... King Kerr Risager Nielsen Covatti Rose Ritchings IF??? This is the team for next season (or just a hoax) it do not impress me very much. Risager returning is a no-no in my books, I was hoping to get away from just gaters or miles at the back Neilsen in the team proper is detriment to his riding performance and he Im sure will agree is a reserve only on present form. Kerr after his horrific injuries is a real gamble and who knows how much that may have taken away from his abilities. The reserves are ok but will not pull any trees up during the season. King and Nico Im very happy with. So as has been suggested a mid table position looks on the cards again and even more dropping of attendances. Baldyman
Isn't riching coming back from head injuries too? I would imagine the cost of the new fence has a bearing on the team.

Which is what? Perhaps Phil Hilton was just giving his honest opinions, just like we all have on here? Difference is Phil Hilton seems to have given his in a private conversation and away from social media. A little naïve perhaps, but I bet he's regretting it now!
ZODIAK
Why is Hawkins still being mentioned? He's yesterday's news. His beef with Hilton was simply because he was getting pulled from his fourth ride in meetings early this season, which was fully justified because he was utter utter crap.
