Roland seems convinced and to be fair he's not one known for a wind up.

We'll soon find out.

Kennett was pretty hacked off having to carry the team for most of the season. I Wouldn't blame him if he wanted a move, but now the new promoters are fully in charge he may want to see what their team building plans are. He's not likely to collect his Mr Rocket award and then make a speech saying "thanks for this by the way I'm off" is he Shads ;)

I don't believe we'll sign him as it goes because King is pretty much nailed on and I just can't see Louis going that top heavy.

You'd think Kennett would be the first Rocket signed up wouldn't you? Most like to get their number one's done first so I'm sure this rumour will be put to bed pretty quickly.

Probably not, but if he was considering a move he'd surely not say anything

I have no idea about whether his retirement was really final or indeed if too many bridges have been burned but with the new No7 regulation does Ritchie Hawkins with an average of just 3.56 become a more attractive option.

He surely would improve on that in the circumstances and would mean the top 5 can be built with a strong spearhead.

Very attractive average Bruv, but after the way JL spoke in particular after he left, can't see him returning even if Phil Hilton didn't continue his managerial role.

I tend to agree HKP

Speedway is strange sometimes though....

What would the point of having Danny King and Eddie Kennett in the same team. How many matches would they miss in a season with them both being in the Elite League.

Is Kennett not an asset of Rye House? If so, and the criteria remains same, then PL team would have priority in fixtures so he wouldn't miss any matches

Here's a thought.......MX riders can make the conversion to speedway, previously both Louis's and Tatum for starters. More recently Cook and the Worralls have done well. In fairness, none of the above were superstars in the former discipline, so what would happen IF somebody could get somebody with even more talent to jump ship.......no previous so presumably comes in on 3? (Just killing a few moments waiting for proceedings to kick from down under) Have a nice weekend everybody, can't see past a Bomber win today!!

CL was on radio on Friday. Hopes to announce a rider or two in next couple of weeks. He said fans probably know he wants to build a team around Danny and Nico so expect those will be first names. Can't do 1 league North and South as too many double uppers ie not enough riders and not ready yet for elite League for witches, happy in competitive PL. If you want to listen bbcradiosuffolk Stephen Foster 23/10/15 1.36 into his programme.

Thanks for that Badge. Interesting snippet at the end there regarding the home straight stand which is set to be pulled down and rebuilt during the winter of 2016.

Fair play to the stadium owners (whoever they are these days) who are turning Foxhall in to a magnificent venue.

On the team front, sounds almost certain that King and Covatti will be the first two announced.

The "rules" did previously state a rider with an Elite league average of over 6 could only ride in the Premier League for 2 seasons, I suppose we'll find out soon enough as to whether Dannys half season in 2014 counts. If it does we'll be looking for a new no1, if not I'm sure he's nailed on to be a Witch.

Of course we still have the 2nd half of the agm on Nov 3rd to screw things up as they usually do!

The 2 year rule was only brought in last year and not back dated so 2014 not part of it.

Danny is able d/u next year without a problem.

Of course if it suits then at the agm at the end of 2016 the rule will just be dropped for 2017!!
