van wolfswinkel
We had that one week in July June was alright(especially Wimbledon fortnight) so was some of April(sat in garden). Hardly any rain April-July but always seems to bloody rain in August when the kids are off. If the Daily Express says it will be a cold winter it wont be! The Daily Express havn't got a clue what they are talking about. They just shout for the sake of trying to sell papers, if you read there headlines every week they change like the Weather. Personally, i would rather by the beano that buy any daily paper.

I have a little surprise for you. The Sun, Star, Mirror and Mail aren't the only papers. You could always get someone to read one of the more intelligent ones to you or better still show you the pictures.
SteveLyric2
I see Rosco has announced the 'end of season 'party for Saturday 10th October - the night before the End of Era meeting. £10 a head and all proceeds to Darcy Ward!! Great idea for the fund raising but I would have thought the party should be AFTER the meeting??!!!

Great idea for the fund raising but I would have thought the party should be AFTER the meeting??!!! Doesn't sound like great planning. So the riders won't be able to have a drink at the end of season party because they'll be riding the next day?

Have to have both events close together or the riders go back to their various home countries & don't attend the end of season party. Swindon end of season do's must be a bit crap then as a few years ago Nicolai Klindt preferred to guest for Coventry than go to the Swindon end of season party! hyderd
I really hope it happens and assuming it does would it be possible for Swindon to share with Somerset until their own stadium is up and running.
