King's Lynn 2016

The draft is failing in what it is meant to do.

It's just a way of making sure the EL teams can have some brits in their team and keep cost down.

It's a load of bullrubbish.

Apart from it is giving those Brits extra rides which is always good, of course we really need them to push on but it is a big hurdle to get over. They should of course be able to improve via the NL then PL but the PL and EL promoters are in opposition to a certain extent. This one\two nights a week racing must help though.

As usual with our EL, there are so many hurdles ..... In particular trying to keep team strength equal.

Thank god for the draft at least someone is trying to help the future.

The PL are the ones trying to ruin the future by using rubbish foreigners on rubbish averages (because they are basically rubbish) instead of helping the next generation themselves. Thank god they have been bullied into doing it next season.

Otherwise they would have helped continue to ignore the obvious and help cremate British Speedway.

This is a massive long shot but going to put it anway...

A few seasons ago when we didn't really have a clue who we were going to sign I had a look at Jonathan Chapmans twitter to see who he had just started following that recent week, one of them was Maciej Janowski which was strange at the time as we had no real link to him, and guess what, he signed.

Just done the same with Rob Lyon, recently he's followed 3 riders, Martin Vaculik, Bjarne Pedersen and Mikkel Michelsen. Could these be the 3 to fill our top 5 with Rory not returning in 2016?

As I said it's a long shot BUT, Michelsen signalled the other day he's signed a contract with someone, Vaculik was interested in riding in the UK although people are saying it was just for Poole on a short term deal, and Bjarne has been linked aswell.

1. Martin Vaculik 8.00

2. Mikkel Michelsen 5.67

3. Bjarne Pedersen 6.55

4. Robert Lambert 6.59

5. Troy Batchelor 6.91

6. ???

7. Lewis Rose 3.00

Leaves 3.78 for the other reserve, someone like Roynon.

Now that looks a fairly handy team in my opinion, let's see if it's anything close :P

3 of them would have quit by end of season

Still, only a year, Kerr isnt the future, but is certainly a bigger talent than both Roynon/Lambert.

How can you write someone off at 25. Just look at Doyley who was a slow but consistent improver. He looked like a PL heat leader and EL second string. Now he is in the SGPs for a second year on merit and was the best rider in the EL last year over the whole season!

Kerr started in 2010 for Kings Lynn Young Stars the same time as Simon Lambert was riding Premier League for The Stars. Anyone know what Lamberts average was in 2010 and what is average was for Peterborough last season ?

One for you SCB
